The faculty is really nice. The feels is high compared with campus and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are based on your skills. There are many companies that come every year and they select many students based on how you perform among them. The percentage of placements are based on course. The availability of offers is around 6 LPA. There are different ones every year, like tcs, tata, Au bank, piramel, etc.
Infrastructure: If you talk about infrastructure, you will not get too good and not too bad either. The campus infrastructure is some years old, established in 1964, so there are no hostel facilities available and no Wi-Fi. You will get a sports field, some sports facilities, a decent library, and labs.
Faculty: All of the teachers are well qualified; most of them are PhDs. The teaching quality is really good. They will help with your future career plans a lot. Semester exams are not too tough; you can pass them. The passing percentage is based on your course.
Other: I chose these courses in this college because I really like to do my graduation in biotechnology, and Lachoo is the only college in Jodhpur that has this course. There are some events, but they belong mostly to the educational programs. There is no internal scholarship provided by the college.

I am dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: No one got placed. It used to be a great college once, but now it is not. There are no placements, and they don't even tell us about other competitive exams. They don't even tell students if results are released. They don't even give us our provisional degree, and they just give mark sheets.
Infrastructure: The only facility available here was the girls' common room and nothing else. Facilities ain't that good. Classrooms look very old, and the fan can drop on the head at any time of the day. Most of the fans don't even work, and only teachers get to be in air-conditioned rooms.
Faculty: Our college collects a huge amount of money by backlogs because they don't give us marks. Some teachers are good, but not all of them. Some teachers are very rude. Even if you talk politely, they shout at you for nothing.
Other: I wish they teach students more of their knowledge and lesser book terms. Students can't just recite things, so teachers need to explain them well. There are no extracurricular activities, and they focus only on exams.

Lachoo College is more like an extended school life with little bit freedom of College Life.
Placements: There were no campus placements in our course. Workshops were organised to learn about the various jobs and careers after graduation. However, college does not organise or carry campus placement activities or internships. None of my batchmates landed into any company jobs. After graduation, most of my batch mates opted for Post graduation. As the college timings are just 4 hours so many of my batch mates used to do part time jobs which is one of the perks of studying at Lachoo unlike Universities where most of the time is absorbed in campus only.
Infrastructure: There is one lab for zoology, 2 for biotechnology and 3 labs for chemistry undergrads. Classrooms are well lit, have fans and proper table-chairs. Library is small compared to university libraries. There are basic books available for each subject however as there are limited books only so it is more like "first come, first serve" basis. I used to go and issue the books in 1st week of semester itself otherwise there are only relevant textbooks left. There are no hostels provided. My friends from outstation used to rent pgs and rooms nearby in shastri nagar area. Sports ground is there for basketball, cricket and badminton. Annual sports meet/competition is also organised. There is one canteen within college. Outside college campus, number of eateries are available in and around college in shastri nagar area or jaljog chouraha.
Faculty: The best thing about Lachoo was course curricula which was extensive and covered the basics of each subject. Some of Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. There are freshers also. Overall, it's a 4/5 for me in terms of teaching quality at Lachoo. Some teachers are helpful while others are not. Basically, one needs to be in good books of teachers to gain maximum information from them.
Other: I liked biotechnology as a subject given the scope that it gives ample opportunity and flexibility whether to go for academic or company jobs in any sector like pharma, agriculture, medical or forest services. I wished there were more of exposure of industry and incorporation of courses that were targeted for industry which definitely helps in landing for job after B.Sc. I did not come into interaction with anybody who had been given any scholarship by Lachoo College. Campus crowd is mostly students from nearby villages and cities of Rajasthan. Locals are a majority. Campus elections happens once a year. The student body selected in these elections organises various fests and extracurricular activities. Usually, annual function happens that includes competitions in each category like sports, arts, environment awareness, dance etc.

The college is fine because teachers are good.
Placements: There was no placement of any kind in the Biotechnology field in the college. Many other companies came for placements like BCA, but that was very limited. The packages ranged from 3 LPA to 4 LPA at Pharma.
Infrastructure: The college library is non-AC, there are no Wi-Fi labs, and there is no cooler or AC in the classrooms. It gets very hot during the summers, and the classrooms remain very hot as there is neither AC nor a cooler. Exam timings are very bad. In summer, exams are held at noon, and in winter, they are held at 7 am.
Faculty: Teachers' knowledge is good, and all are helpful. Semester exams are conducted well without any issues. All teachers are qualified.
Other: There is nothing in the college regarding placement in the Biotech course. You only get a degree from here, then take it home and pursue a master's degree from another college.
