Review of Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology.

Placements: Many companies visit our college for placements. During this pandemic, we all are at home, so I don't think companies visited our college this time for internships. In the commerce department, companies provide many opportunities to students. 5 LPA is the highest package offered. 1.2 LPA is the lowest package, and 2.5 LPA is the average package offered. Amazon, Facebook, Jio, Google, etc., come here. 2% of students got placed in Google and Amazon. Discipline and management are good.

Infrastructure: The college has a very rich library, exclusively housed in a spacious area. It is computerized using SOUL, the library management software by Inflibnet, UGC. The library has more than 25,000 books on various science and technology subjects, including humanities and culture. Magazines, journals on special subjects and current affairs are regular features. Computers for accessing digital media add charm to the library. The book bank section in the library is established to help needy students. The library is equipped with Xerox machines for the benefit of teachers and students. Sports tournaments are organised by the college from time to time. NCC camps are also present here. Our college provides a badminton court, football ground, canteen etc. There are a lot of things. It has a beautiful environment. There is no issue of election because elections are banned in this college.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful to all students. They help students if they have problems, and their teaching quality is very good. This course is very good for our future because computers and mobile phones will be very useful on a regular basis in the future. There are 3 semesters, and one semester is of 3 months duration. The pass percentage is 36%. It is quite simple to pass. Before the end-semester exams, our college announces CIA 1 and CIA 2 for everyone to score marks. Each semester has 2 mini subjects mainly, but some have 3 mini subjects, so their marks are equally distributed. However, students only score 80 marks out of 200, and in 3 mini subjects, they score only 120 marks out of 300.

Other: Academics are great. The curriculum is updated, and all courses make us job-ready. We have a lot of real-life course experience, and we get hands-on experience of the work that we do. I am having an all-round holistic experience.

Placements: The top companies that come to recruit are Genpact, Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd., Capsitech, and Sierra Concepts e-Solutions Pvt. Ltd. They offer multiple roles, including marketing trainee, category manager, digital marketing specialist, management trainee, logistics manager, and more. The average package ranges from 4-6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities offered within the course are good. It includes labs, conference rooms, a library, sports grounds, and courts. Along with a canteen, digital classrooms, a medical room, and an activity hall. The quality is very decent, neat, clean, and well-maintained with regular maintenance.

Faculty: The best part about the college is faculty members. The management department teachers are full of wisdom, knowledge, and years of teaching experience. It really helps me learn and grow as a student, preparing me to join the professional corporate world. They really helped me start my career by assisting me in getting placed within the program.

Other: The college hosts many great events like the annual function and the management fest week. These are filled with lots of fun and activities.
