It provides good teachers and infrastructure but I am satisfied with its hostel facilities.

Placements: There are no direct placements opportunities in this course. Students either pursue their career in Botany by cracking state PCS or UPSC exams or they continue their studies for masters. Most of the students join for M.Sc after completing this course.

Infrastructure: In this college, infrastructure is basic. Some advanced facilities are available in the department, because our college has a research department for Ph.D. Wi-Fi is enabled, and laboratories are well-equipped with qualified faculty members. It also has a decent library. Classrooms for 1st-semester students are congested. A new classroom is under construction right now, and it will be available for the next academic year. Hostel facilities for boys are limited. Most of the students stay in flats and houses nearby for rent. The food served in the hostel and mess is decent. Hostel facilities for girls are decent and provide many facilities. Our canteen is demolished, and the new canteen is under construction. A new sports hostel is also under construction.

Faculty: Faculty members are decent and qualified. They are very friendly and easy-going. Our course curriculum is vast and strong, even though it is old. Since this college is under Calicut University, semester exams are not conducted at right time, it may delay for months. It also delays result publishing. Exams are not difficult. If students follow the syllabus and classes, then they can easily score good marks.

Other: Extracurricular activities are currently not up to the level. Many programs are not conducted, and the open stage and ground college are not well-maintained. The condition of our college ground is not good. The gallery is also not good in our college. The board and authorities said that they sanctioned certain funds for the renovation and hopefully things will change in the future.
