The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) and the General Education Department release the Kerala Plus Two Christmas Exam Time Table 2025-26. The Kerala Second Terminal Exam, popularly known as the Christmas Exam, is conducted for classes 1 to 12 across all government, aided, and private schools following the SCERT Kerala syllabus. The Kerala Plus 2 second terminal exams are held before the Christmas vacation to analyse the students’ mid-year academic performance.
The Kerala 12th board exam for second term will tentatively begin in December 2025 for all classes, including the Higher Secondary (Plus One and Plus Two) streams. Often referred to as Kerala Half-yearly Exam Timetable 2025, this examination is conducted by the department for all levels, including Lower Primary (LP), Upper Primary (UP), High School, and Higher Secondary students under the DHSE Kerala board. The plus two christmas exam time table 2025 in Kerala is a second-term assessments exam and give students a chance to get a complete understanding of the first half of the syllabus. It helps students for the final annual/public exams.

The Kerala board will release the Kerala Plus two Supplementary exam time table 2026 soon after the Plus two results 2026. The Kerala Plus two Supplementary exam time table will be released on the official website. Kerala Plus two supplementary exams 2026 will be held in June 2026. If a student is not able to attend a Kerala 12th board exam, he will be given zero marks in the subject. The student will have to appear for the SAY exam. Hence students are advised not to skip the board exam.
The duration of each paper of the Kerala 12th exam is 2.5 hours. The timing of the exam is given in the Kerala Plus two time table. Timing of the subjects without practical will be from 9.30 AM to 12.15 PM including cool off time of 15 minutes. Subjects with practical except Biology and Music will be held from 9.30 AM to 11.45 AM including cool off time of 15 minutes. Biology will be held from 9.30 A. M to 11.55 A. M including cool off time (25 minutes I. e. , 15 minutes for Botany & Zoology and 10 minutes preparatory time for Zoology). The timing of Music will be 9.30 AM to 11.15 AM including cool off time (15 minutes).
