Admission via Management Quota are conducted as per the norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Consortium of Self-Financing Colleges. Candidates must have a pass with minimum average marks in related subjects, including vocational theory and practicals combined to apply for admission under the Management Quota.

MIET Engineering College offers AICTE-approved courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in affiliation with Anna University, Chennai. The college offers a four-year BE/ BTech programme at UG and two-year each ME and MBA programmes at the PG levels. Admission to MIET courses is both merit and entrance-based.
