My BCA experiences both the good and the gaps.
Placements: Around 70–75% of students placed in our BCA course. The highest package offered is 8.5 LPA, the lowest is 2.4 LPA, and the average package stands at around 3.6–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Capgemini, and Zoho. About 60–65% of students receive internship opportunities through the college or external platforms. Companies offering internships vary across domains.
Infrastructure: Our BCA department has well-equipped computer labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostels are decent, with basic facilities and average mess food. The canteen offers affordable snacks. Medical aid is available on campus, with a nearby hospital for emergencies. Sports facilities include both indoor games and outdoor fields. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory, with supportive faculty and improving amenities. It makes a good environment for learning and development.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and have good subject knowledge. Most of them are approachable. They support students with doubts and project guidance. The teaching quality is decent, with a mix of theory and practical sessions. The course curriculum is relevant and covers programming, databases, networking, and soft skills, but extra certifications become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and concept-based, with some theoretical questions. The pass percentage is quite high. Around 85–90%. Students attend classes and study regularly.
Other: I chose BCA course because of my interest in computers and software development. The best part of the course is the mix of theory and practical knowledge. They provide supportive faculty and good placement assistance. Regular events, tech fests, and extracurricular activities make campus life engaging. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse, with decent connectivity and surroundings. Scholarships are available for deserving students. However, I wish there were more industry tie-ups, guest lectures, and advanced lab facilities. With slight improvements in infrastructure and real-world exposure, the course can become even more effective in making students industry-ready.

Absolutely average because of faculty, infrastructure, and placement package.
Placements: More than 60% of students get placed in BCA at MPGI. The average package is about 5.5–6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and many more. There are very few internships in the BCA course, so you have to find them on your own. The roles offered are of many types, like assistant manager and others.
Infrastructure: There are many departments in MPGI, and every department has the best facilities. In our college, there are two computer labs with fully air-conditioned atmosphere and a library with many types of books. In MPGI, both boys and girls have separate hostels, and both are in good condition. There is an Annapurna Grah for the mess and a hospital on campus for any emergency. There is a good ground with a cricket pitch and volleyball court.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. You can ask anything from your coordinator or your respective teacher at any time. In BCA, subjects like management, finance, and coding make students industry-ready. I think the subjects are not difficult in BCA. If you study sincerely and regularly, you can pass the exams easily. Most students pass the examinations with good percentages.
Other: I chose this course because of my financial problems, and I think B.Tech is a little bit high for me. I have the chance to complete this course in 3 years, get a job, and then do my MCA from a top university. Events are organized in short period of time, and you also get a chance to participate in them. Sports competitions are also organized, and you can take part and get a chance to win trophies.

MPGI attendance criteria is 90%. The college will charge a fine in case of short attendance.
Placements: I'm pursuing a BCA from MPGI. It has an average placement package ranging from 3 LPA to 49 LPA. Almost 80% of students get placed in the college, while other branches have 50% to 65% placement. Many companies have visited, including TCS, Wipro, Adobe, Accenture, Microsoft, Samsung, and many more.
Infrastructure: Courses and hostel facilities are also good. My course fee in 2023 is approximately 1,80,000, and it includes everything in the college. Many courses are offered like B.Pharma, D.Pharma, BCA, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, Dental, and Ayurveda courses. They will charge scholarship processing fees as well as a fine for attendance below 90%.
Faculty: Faculty members and teachers are good, and they are well-educated in every field. The faculty members are experienced. The college has an exam facility with 2 mid-exams every semester and 1 PUT exam every semester, along with minor class tests and some projects based on your courses.

It is nearly satisfiable for good and hardworking students.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 49 LPA, and minimum the package is 3 LPA. The average package ranges from 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCL, HCL, etc. 60-70% of students get internships in the BCA course. Roles like software developer, data analyst, and other technical and non-technical jobs. It provides good skills.
Infrastructure: It has a fully digital campus and contact-free education. Our college has excellent infrastructure and amenities.
Faculty: Teachers for the BCA course are helpful and well-qualified with suitable knowledge. The course curriculum is averagely relevant but the college makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate level in college. The pass percentage is nearly 35-40%.
Other: It has industrial collaborations with IBM, Cisco, Jio, JBM, Alkem, Glenmark, and Wockhardt. It has academic collaborations with IIT ICT Academy, NPTEL, AWS Academy, ICMRI, and BII. It has global collaborations with universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the USA. Interdisciplinary specializations are offered for maximum employability like Mobilloittee MOU, IIT MOU, and IBM MOU.

Not worth it for those who want only to study.
Placements: I did BCA and graduated this year, in 2025. The percentage of students placed from my course is around 10%, and I am one of the 10% of students who got placed. The highest package for BCA students is 8.7 LPA, and the minimum would be 3 LPA. Many companies come to our college, like Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, Jaro, Learning Routes, etc. But there are no internship placements available from the college, so it is a negative point. After doing BCA, you'll be offered an associate role.
Infrastructure: So, I will give it 4 stars for that because I like the infrastructure and facilities of the college; it is quite good, so a thumbs up from my side. I am a day scholar, so I really don't have any idea about the hostel, but one of my friends is a hosteler, so according to him, rooms are decent but the food is not good.
Faculty: So, personally, I don't like the faculty of MPGI; some are good, but some are not. Students themselves have to put in a lot of effort to grasp the concepts. But the examination system of MPGI is quite good. They conduct three exams in college: Mid-1, Mid-2, and PUT before the final exam.
Other: I don't think it is value for money. Keeping events and everything aside, the faculty should be good, but it is not. And if talking about campus life, it is good, and MPGI is crowded, too; many students study there. They organize lots of events and fests, so that part is quite happening about the college.
