My review of this college.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities are average in my college, as we get job opportunities by attending pooled campuses held at other colleges on their invitation. They don't call for any companies that reach out directly to our college for the placement of UIET students. There is a placement cell that manages to inform every student regarding the pooled campuses held at other colleges where UIET is invited. Company visits to our campus include Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Magicpin, and many more. Every year, about 65% to 75% of students get placed with an average package of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is separate accommodation for boys and girls. With time passing by, the hostel management has been very particular about the rules and regulations, and the mess food was very good and hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are talented and able to explain topics. I find very good and experienced professors. Professors are knowledgeable and they are very cooperative. They help with everything from college issues to personal issues. I had very good relations with professors. Marks are divided in every section. You have 5 marks for attendance (if you have 75%). The mid-semester exam will be of 30 marks and end-semester exams will be of 50 marks. Exams are held in a good manner. The paper duration is 3 hours. The mid-semester exam is always in October for the odd semester and in March for the even semester.

Best campus of Kanpur in affordable price.
Placements: Placement rate of CSJMU is really very surprising because all the students who are actually dedicated to their studies get placements in decent companies. Placement rate is more than 60% and for interns also. Companies like HCL, Infosys, and Wipro come here to conduct interviews with the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course is really very great. All classes are well furnished and also have proper water, sanitation, and other facilities. In our computer lab, there are enough amount of computers. All the labs, auditorium, and main department offices have AC but not in all the classrooms. Full campus is connected with Wi-Fi but sometimes its speed is slow. Campus has proper medical facilities with sports/games along with cafeteria.
Faculty: Teachers are really great. They are punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. They are too much helpful and highly qualified. Semester exams are medium level so if a student focuses on the class lectures so they may tackle the exam easily. As BCA is a 3-year course so it contains 6 semesters, and you have to pay the fee for 2 semesters at once (no option for 1 semester fee).
Other: As a campus of 164 acres, I feel that it is almost value of money. But I think they should add AC to students' regular classes also. If I talk about the crowd of the campus, then its not too much and that too low its average because the campus is so enormous.

CSJMU is a renowned institution.
Placements: The 2024 placement data has not been released. Earlier, the placement drive 2023 concluded with more than 1,257 job offers made during CSJMU on-campus and off-campus drives. Over 612 job offers were received on-campus and more than 645 job offers were attracted from the job fair and pool drives. Further, the top recruiters who participated in CSJMU placements in the past years were Paytm, Neemus, HCL Technologies, Zomato, etc. The university has also released the NIRF 2024, incorporating the 2023 median package for various courses. The median package offered to B.Tech and MBA students during 2023 placements was 4 LPA to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University campus spans 264 acres. CSJMU excels in providing its students and teachers with every facility that is needed for their personal and professional growth. Facilities like the students welfare center, clubs, career counseling and guidance, hostel, etc., are available. The residential wing of the campus includes faculty members of life sciences, business management, education, and English. There are separate hostels, academic, and administrative blocks. CSJMU library has its computer subnet with the most modern CAT-6 network technology.
Faculty: Faculty to student ratio is very bad. This causes lots of delays in flying as one instructor is responsible for teaching more students than they can manage. The number of aircraft is also not sufficient considering the number of students. The total fee might be one of the biggest in India but the number of students is also very high. Exams are held during the ground training phase. Each subject has 3 exams and they are overall not tough. The ground training is very helpful for DGCA exams.
Other: I love my college because it conducts various activities that are useful for us.

Satisfied with facilities and faculty members. Good placements from 2024 to 2025.
Placements: Bachelor of computer applications offers various job roles. It provides more technical roles like data science, software engineering, cybersecurity, IoT, and many more. The percentage of students who placed in this course is approximately 50 to 60%. TCS, Wipro, Justdial, and many more companies visited our college. The highest package is 10 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA as per the skills of a student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good and well-maintained. Parking facilities are available. Vehicles are also available for students if the department is far from the main gate of the university. A parking facility is available near the university's main gate. Every department has a parking facility.
Faculty: Examinations are strictly conducted as there are teachers of other departments aligned in exam time. Good teachers are available. Faculty members help students a lot. Internal marks are provided in a better manner if students are completing their assignments and practicals or projects in a good way.
Other: The technology knowledge can be gained from this course. Technical courses play a big role in finding better technical job opportunities. If you want to grow in the field of technology, you can do a BCA from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University which provides essential knowledge to students.

Placements: The salary package offered to BCA students at CSJMU varies. However, the average salary of BCA freshers is 3 LPA. The highest salary is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, TCS, Infosys, and Amazon. Roles are offered such as software developer, data analyst, etc.

Yes a commerce student can join BCA course without maths. The general eligibility criteria for joining BCA course is to Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. BCA is total of three year program
