Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
Students belonging to reserved categories/weaker sections/minorities are eligible on the basis of merit, subject to Central Reservation Policy and internal earmarking. The scholarship would be available to students belonging to ‘non-creamy layer’.
As per the latest guidelines on the subject, the income-ceiling for ‘non-creamy layer’ is Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum (revised to Rs. 6 lakhs per annum).Scholarship will be paid to the selected students directly by the Central Government.

Candidates who get admission to the BSc programme offered at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute are required to pay the MGMCRI BSc fees which range between INR 90,000 and INR 2.25 lakh (tuition fees). Candidates might also have to pay the hostel fee and one-time admission fees apart from the tuition fees.
MGMCRI BSc scholarships can be availed by meritorious students who have obtained good marks in the Class 12 examination. The criteria and scholarship amount is given below:
