M.Sc. in Bioinformatics - Batch of 2023

Overall, best University for M.Sc. In Bioinformatics Course.
Placements: In our college, 70% of the students were placed from our batch. The highest package on campus was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 2LPA, the average is 4LPA. Top recruiters were Jubilant Biosys, Roche, Aurigene Discover, etc. In the end, the internship was not as high as the university had promised. The roles assigned were Bioinformatics Analyst, Computational Biologist, and so on.
Infrastructure: The college amenities were excellent. Comprehensive amenities include multimedia for efficient classroom instruction, digital tools, and access to sporting facilities. The hostel rooms were well decorated. The environment at college is fascinating. The interior roads were relatively smooth, and the rooms were in good condition.
Faculty: The college has excellent faculty members who have enough experience in their domain to teach you. The faculty was recruited from abroad and industry experts to enhance the learning of the students. Character development was given as much priority as implementation. Modern technology was used to educate students.

I am really satisfied with my faculty teachers; everything is so good if you really want it.
Placements: there is no placement for B.A. Arts, but there are various internships. As I said, there is no placement for this course, so there are no recruiting companies. I think everyone gets some internship for the course. My seniors are in many good positions.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are very good. Talking about the hostel mess or canteen, I was not in the hostel of the main campus. Medical and games facilities were also good. Talking about infrastructure, this is one of the oldest colleges founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, all qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams were fine too if you attend your classes properly. Teaching quality includes visiting sites, presentations, and PPTs used for teaching. Yes, the curriculum was relevant, and it helps the students to succeed in their future.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a degree to prepare for government exams. Everything is fine as long as you are really involved.

Value for money especially when it is a central government University .
Placements: The course of B.A. hons doesn't guarantee a placement by college
Except for some extraordinary students of certain courses which are trending these days be it Economics, etc. Hence, one should be mindful of that fact that placements are not too much promised by this college and this course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite old and hence it's a bit low in maintenance but serves good for the course. Hostel is a little old and has a moderate sanitation facilities, food is good and hygienic and this balance the other. Hostels can be considered "enough" for accommodation in UG 1st year.
Faculty: Professors are quite knowledgeable and have a good way of teaching. The New NEP knowledge is good for providing knowledge for the current era. Exams are moderate, if paid attention to the classes and made a little self effort, it is more than good.
Other: I chose the course because of the ancient history, diversity the crowd and the students share in BHU. I'd like it, if they are a little more technological inclined and have a good technology reach and maintain themselves in the technology field, such as digitalising things and databases, that would do good and ud like if they improved their infrastructure a lot more. Lot of opportunities are their for the students studying their, be it scholarship and everything like that.

BHU gives you a nice campus life.
Placements: As compared to other colleges, BHU provides great placement opportunities for arts students. As a student of the arts, I agree that not everyone can get a placement from campus job offers, but they provide a lot of other opportunities to grow yourself, which will eventually lead you to your job.
Infrastructure: BHU provides full Wi-Fi classrooms. The infrastructure is very old, so it requires some repairs and renovation, but overall, the infrastructure is good, and the BHU campus is also the largest residential campus in Asia. You will love the greenery of campus, and the college and faculty members also provide proper labs, and the classrooms are also good. Also, the library is really very big.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is also very good. Now we even have other subjects apart from arts as per NEP to study in our academics, which is so helpful, and also it provides more knowledge to us.
Other: I am a philosophy major, and I find this course very interesting. We have great teachers, and the environment is good here. There are also multiple events going on on our campus. Even though there are many clubs for different things, like we have our music club Mousiquee, which is so good, and other college societies too.

Mahila Mahavidyalaya BHU, Varanasi, is a very good place for studying.
Placements: In my opinion there were about 70% student were placed in my course. They offered the highest 3600000 Lacs rupees and the lowest 1200000 rupees per annum and average package is about 300000 per annum. UGC NET jrf compani is recruiting about 10 persentvgot internship.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good in my department, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc. The hostel facility is also very good, and the food quality is also very good. The medical facility is excellent, and sports and games facilities are also very good.
Faculty: In my college, the teachers are very helpful and qualified, and they have good subject knowledge. Semester exams are not very difficult. This course is very relevant, and the passing percentage is very good, about 100 percent, because of good study.
Other: I chose the B.A. course because I want to prepare for UPSC, so in this course, I can improve my learning process. The events, fests, and campus crowd are very high.

Overall satisfied, and happy from my perspective. It has good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 40 to 50% of students get placed in my course, with an average salary of 3 LPA and the highest package of 6 LPA after graduation. The top recruiters are TCS, Accenture, UPES, and ICMR. On average, 50 to 60% of students can easily get internship roles in the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is well-maintained, and regular classes are conducted in MMV. The food is edible, and classrooms are well-furnished and modern. The library is entrusted with a range of books. The medical facilities are okay, with special provisions for students through the Student Health Centre. There are numerous sports grounds in the college, and various tournaments take place throughout the year.
Faculty: It is relevant in some cases, and the college has already implemented the NEP, changing the structure of the course. The rest is fine, it's adjustable and easily understandable. The semester exams are okay, and the pass percentage depends on the subject. For example, economics has a pass percentage of around 95%.
Other: My course is Economics Honours. The best thing is definitely my honours subject, which is Economics. I wish to improve by learning important skills such as Excel and financial literacy, which would be helpful. Various types of events take place in the college. For example, Utkrishti, a several-day event that helps unleash creativity and sportsmanship. Workshops on various useful and unique topics are also organized, such as fly and bakery, terracotta, calligraphy, clay modeling, and subject-related.
