M.Sc. in Bioinformatics - Batch of 2023

Overall, best University for M.Sc. In Bioinformatics Course.
Placements: In our college, 70% of the students were placed from our batch. The highest package on campus was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 2LPA, the average is 4LPA. Top recruiters were Jubilant Biosys, Roche, Aurigene Discover, etc. In the end, the internship was not as high as the university had promised. The roles assigned were Bioinformatics Analyst, Computational Biologist, and so on.
Infrastructure: The college amenities were excellent. Comprehensive amenities include multimedia for efficient classroom instruction, digital tools, and access to sporting facilities. The hostel rooms were well decorated. The environment at college is fascinating. The interior roads were relatively smooth, and the rooms were in good condition.
Faculty: The college has excellent faculty members who have enough experience in their domain to teach you. The faculty was recruited from abroad and industry experts to enhance the learning of the students. Character development was given as much priority as implementation. Modern technology was used to educate students.

I am really satisfied with my faculty teachers; everything is so good if you really want it.
Placements: there is no placement for B.A. Arts, but there are various internships. As I said, there is no placement for this course, so there are no recruiting companies. I think everyone gets some internship for the course. My seniors are in many good positions.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are very good. Talking about the hostel mess or canteen, I was not in the hostel of the main campus. Medical and games facilities were also good. Talking about infrastructure, this is one of the oldest colleges founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, all qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams were fine too if you attend your classes properly. Teaching quality includes visiting sites, presentations, and PPTs used for teaching. Yes, the curriculum was relevant, and it helps the students to succeed in their future.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a degree to prepare for government exams. Everything is fine as long as you are really involved.

BHU gives you a nice campus life.
Placements: As compared to other colleges, BHU provides great placement opportunities for arts students. As a student of the arts, I agree that not everyone can get a placement from campus job offers, but they provide a lot of other opportunities to grow yourself, which will eventually lead you to your job.
Infrastructure: BHU provides full Wi-Fi classrooms. The infrastructure is very old, so it requires some repairs and renovation, but overall, the infrastructure is good, and the BHU campus is also the largest residential campus in Asia. You will love the greenery of campus, and the college and faculty members also provide proper labs, and the classrooms are also good. Also, the library is really very big.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is also very good. Now we even have other subjects apart from arts as per NEP to study in our academics, which is so helpful, and also it provides more knowledge to us.
Other: I am a philosophy major, and I find this course very interesting. We have great teachers, and the environment is good here. There are also multiple events going on on our campus. Even though there are many clubs for different things, like we have our music club Mousiquee, which is so good, and other college societies too.

I’m completely satisfied.
Placements: Placement depends on the course you are pursuing. In the IT sector, placements are very good, but in others, like the one I am pursuing, B.A., there is no placement, which makes sense because of a B.A. There are limited opportunities in the real world.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The campus is very big. People are friendly and helpful here. Hostels are large, and you get to share a room with at least four people. It can also be up to six. Wi-Fi is available, and the best part is that the prices of these hostels are very low.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and well educated.
Other: Events are organized from time to time. Festivals are also organized to give students the freedom and stage to express themselves and be their true selves. They also help relieve tension and reduce exam or study pressure.

Satisfied with faculty and facilities. Good infrastructure.
Placements: B.A. in Philosophy offers a 3-year honours programme in philosophy. The placement in this field is low, but one can apply to be a counselor or pursue higher degrees in this discipline. Maximum students opted for a master's degree last year, the maximum students got into their stream of their choice, at least 80 to 85%.
Infrastructure: Hostels are properly maintained, and one gets on the basis of their ranks. Quality of food was subpar in the hostel. BHU offers free of cost medical facilities for the students, that amount to so much relief. Each department has a well-furnished library that contains many books relating to the topics, and there is a central library that contains at least 5000 books. A cyber library is also provided. Each hostel has a study room and a computer room. Everywhere on the campus, Wi-Fi is present that students can access any time.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and great in their field. The curriculum was well thought through and important for higher studies. The curriculum includes the study of various philosophical systems, both Western and Indian, along with related subjects. Many get confused that MMV is part of an off-campus college, but it isn't. Semester exams are moderately tough. One mid-semester amounting to 30 marks and the main paper amounting to 70 marks. One needs to score 40 marks to pass. The pass percentage is fairly high

Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is worth it. Go for it.
Placements: I am in the B.A. Arts course, so no placement offers are given to students while pursuing this course. Do not expect any jobs from this college. You can prepare for government exams instead or go for higher education. If you are choosing this college for placement purposes, I do not recommend it. You can pursue technical courses.
Infrastructure: It is a BHU-affiliated college, present on the campus of Banaras Hindu University. It has a huge campus with international-level infrastructure. All classes are well-maintained, and the greenboards are well-prepared. All basic facilities are present, like water coolers, a canteen, and a football playground. The hostels are top-notch, well-ventilated, and fully furnished.
Faculty: At Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, faculty is very supportive and highly educated. Their teaching style is very impressive. The way they teach helps you understand all the concepts very clearly. They teach according to the new curriculum, and exams happen on time. Teachers provide notes for study.
