Need improvement in academics and placements.

Placements: Till now, 33 lakhs p/a is the highest salary offered to placed students in our college. It was offered to our college senior from the department of information technology by Amazon. At least 10+ top companies came for placement every year. Other than this, most of the companies were start-ups.

Infrastructure: Professional sports coaches are appointed in order to encourage the sports interests of the students. Usually during sports period, they share about the benefits of playing sports and sports scholarships. There is a complaint box in each department to inform students about the issue.

Faculty: Most restrictive teachers that I had ever seen in my life. Probably most of the teachers stick to the text books. We have a lot of confusion between academics and placements. As they told us to concentrate on placements and not be allowed to attend the academic class. But they will punish us when we score average marks in academics.

Placements: Companies like Capgemini, Sutherland, Accenture, Deloitte, concentrix etc. Came for on-campus placement. Also, we were asked to attend the drives that were occurring on the campus of SMVEC and MIT. Our alumni from the department of information technology got placed in Amazon with 33 Lacs pa.

Infrastructure: Multiple sports grounds for girls and boys students, and we were trained by the professional sports coaches. In the hostel, we should be on time to have our food. Also, in the hostel, there is a specific time period allotted for us to play, study, and talk.

Faculty: We surely are asked to attend the industrial visits twice a year. During such industrial visits, we may approach the companies of our relevant fields. It's easy to pass exams, but to score above the 8.5 CGPA, we must study throughout the year. Also, most of the questions in exams were real-time applications based.

Feedback about mailam engineering college.

Placements: Mailam engineering college was running successfully upto 25 years with extraordinary placements. It was accredited by TCS and also integrated with various multinational companies. Also I got placed in Renault Nissan on 2023 placements with 4.7 lakhs and started to work as a intern from my final year itself.

Infrastructure: The management arranges online feedback system to monitor the teachers performance and their drawbacks. Then they conduct meetings to take necessary measures and to solve the issues and drawbacks. And our laboratories were supported with uninterrupted power supply.

Faculty: As internals exams were conducted at the end of every month and such results were intimate to our parents via post and phone. Also our teachers intimate the fees payments via post. All our teachers were more concentrated on completing their works from completing portions to fees payments.

Mailam Engineering College is the best engineering college.

Placements: This college's placement record is good. This college conducts multiple placement interviews every year. Tata Electronics, Havells, Orient, Finolex, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, and TVS visit the college for campus interviews. The salary packages are INR 2-9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Mailam Engineering College campus environment and surrounding areas are very beautiful. This college has spacious classrooms. Hi-tech laboratories are available here. A well-equipped library is also provided. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. Mess food is hygienic, and sports grounds are available.

These days, there are fewer placement opportunities available now.

Placements: Some companies like TCS Ninja, Pegatron, Capgemini, VPG Sensors, and Ashok Leyland are the recruiting companies of our Mailam Engineering College. Our students get placed in TCS company every year without fail because our college is a TCS accredited college.

Infrastructure: As of 2024, our college is celebrating its 25th year, and in honor of this milestone, construction works are underway for new buildings. Additionally, they are constructing a stadium, an open auditorium, and expanding the canteens. The laboratories are well-maintained with a good number of lab assistants, and medical facilities are available within our campus.

Faculty: The faculty members were helpful, supportive, and motivating. But sometimes, especially during placements and industrial visits, when it comes to payments, they can be the most irritating people. They do sometimes show favoritism towards students, but not all the time. The classes typically focus on classroom teaching rather than practical sessions.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: According to the 2023 placements, 70 percent of students got placed. The top recruiting companies at our college were TCS, Accenture, and HCL. Additionally, companies like Pegatron and R&N hire students from our college. Moreover, our college is also arranging off-campus housing for students.

Infrastructure: It's a stress-free environment that's green and very peaceful. As our college is responsible for planting trees according to soil conditions in our college, There is an honest stationery shop present at our college to implement good qualities in our students.

Faculty: Our teachers are more irritative and demotivating. They never care about students' problems, worries, or trouble, and they always focus on their work, like completing the syllabus on time and maintaining attendance. But sometimes they took care of us, especially during industrial visits.

Need to concentrate on placement activities.

Placements: Overall placements in our college have been rapidly decreasing year by year. They need to focus on improving this in the upcoming years. Even though top recruiting companies like TCS hire students yearly, fewer students are getting placed. Most students are placed in smaller core companies.

Infrastructure: It is a stress-free environment with all the facilities available within the campus. There are hygienic hostel and mess facilities available within the campus. There is a large sports ground available with all the games. They also provide medical insurance for the students.

Faculty: Usually, clearing a Bachelor's in electrical and electronics engineering is very hard, but it was much easier for me with the help of my teachers. I'm a below-average student, and I easily cleared my semester examinations with a higher percentage with the help and guidance of my lecturers.

Placements: According to the 2022 placement report, 70% of final-year students got placed, including top companies like TCS Ninja, Digital, and so on. Then, during the 2023 placements, 60% of students got placed with the highest package of 12 lacs per annum, the average package of 3.6 lacs per annum, and the minimum package of 3 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Our college contains the necessary facilities for students to pursue courses. There are separate hostel facilities for men and women. Three members are allotted per room. Nutritive and hygienic food are provided by our college. There is a large sports field with all the facilities.

Faculty: The teachers were more helpful and concentrated more on academics than extracurricular activities. They always focused on resolving the issues of students. There is a separate student counselor allocated for students to resolve their issues. It is easy to clear semester examinations.
