Manipal Institute of Communication BA is a three/ four year undergraduate degree course, divided into six to eight semesters. BA at MIC is available in two specialisation i.e., BA in Media and Communication and BA in Graphic Design and Digital Media Marketing. In these two specialisation, student who secures a CGPA of 7.5 and above in the first six semesters to continue to study in the fourth year and complete the BA (Honours).

As per the NIRF report 2025, out of 37 students 30 were placed during Manipal Institute of Communication MA placements 2024. The median package offered to MA batch 2024 was INR 5 LPA. Earlier, 26 out of 43 MA students were placed during placements 2023. The 2023 median package offered was INR 7 LPA
