My honest review of my college.
Placements: Truly speaking, if you go to IITs, you will never see 30% placement in Civil. The one placed actually booked for toppers, it happens the same as in my college. At my time, there were 450+ companies that came. Almost 80% of students were placed in that year from our college in both core and non-core. It's a dumb thing, if you think this is great, as non-core is just waste, which I think, since I always have a passion for engineering.
Infrastructure: The hostels in the college can accommodate all the students. The hostels in the college are more like luxury hotels, everything is maintained the way it should be, and the hostel is a perfect location.
Faculty: The syllabus consisted of diverse concepts of journalism, like new media studies, cinema studies, broadcast journalism, plastic arts, etc. A few workshops are also provided to students, wherein notable personalities from the field of journalism, like Shammi Narang (vice-over artist) came and shared their insights. The faculty is very experienced and efficient. As the program is student-centric, you can expect one of the chill-out exam structures out there with a good amount of time for preparation, and time between exams means you are chilled out and take exams with a free mind. One of the best faculty one can find in a private institute, with almost more than 20% of Ph.D. faculty, you can be sure of good learning. The faculty are knowledgeable about their branch of engineering, and the current method of teaching is very student-centric.

It has a good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement percentage in our course is around 80-85%. Top leading new agency companies are our recruiters like the Times, NDTV, CNN, etc. The highest package offered in our course is 18 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA. 70-80% of students get internship offers.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. College labs are well-decorated and maintained. A huge library is available. A Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. The quality of the hostel is good. Limited sports facilities are also present here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They trained us with practical knowledge that is important for us. The teaching quality of our faculty members is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester examinations of our college are of moderate level.

Kinda okay and kinda not okay.
Placements: Placements here are pretty average because there’s no support from the university. A few of our lecturers help with placements for some students, while the rest have to find jobs by themselves. The highest package that someone has received is around 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average as well. Students get free Wi-Fi access, and there is a decent library. The classrooms are also decent, with projectors in every room. We have an HP lab and a Mac lab, but our department's sports facilities are quite weak.
Faculty: The teaching quality is great. We have some lecturers with industry experience, and they’re very approachable and friendly as well. You can even go on road trips with your lecturers. However, the curriculum isn’t very well designed; it’s average like that of any Indian college.

Review of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: The alumni network of Manipal Institute is quite solid. We do get a bunch of internship and placement opportunities based on alumni recommendations, but one of the major recommendations is for IT sector companies like TCS, which offers internal communication internships and also gives a good stipend. At the end of the day, almost all students get placed primarily in IT, followed by FMCG and lastly, finance companies. Packages depend on the company; the highest is 10.4 LPA, the average package is 5.2 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. But getting a job in our core field is difficult.
Infrastructure: The institute is situated in a scenic location and is also close to a road, which is very useful. Classroom and hostel distance is greater; it is better to buy a bicycle for travel. There are many festivals organized in hostels; that's why day scholars can not enjoy that events. Our campus gives huge value to sports as it offers so many sports such as football, basketball cricket, etc. Our campus organizes tournaments every month, and we have a variety of clubs that help students study. Also, the college library has big digital boards, projectors, and classrooms with comfortable seating. Honestly, hostels are not affordable to middle-class students, but the food is tasty and hygienic.
Faculty: Our university is 7th in cleanliness and teaching. Teachers prove that they are very helpful; they have done research in subjects like media and literature. Teachers have in-depth knowledge about their subjects. The course structure is well planned, and they always make minor changes. All internal and external exams are done through the e-pad system so no one can cheat. Also, exams are so strict.
Other: Manipal is famous for events and activities; the crowd here includes students from all Indian states, and scholarships are based on merit and income.

It is a really very good college.
Placements: Our college is known for its placements. Every year, hundreds of companies come to our college for recruitment. Last year, the placement rate was above 70 percent in our course. Top recruiting companies are the BBC Group, India Today, CNN, etc. These companies offer an average package of INR 10 LPA. For internships, colleges collaborate with some companies to provide internships for students.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush and beautiful. The infrastructure of our course is world-class. Practical classes are very interactive here. Libraries are always well-stocked. Facilities for hostels are available on campus with an affordable feel. The rooms are also well maintained. Food in a mess is awesome. Grounds are available to play games like football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: According to me, teachers are very knowledgeable here. Teaching methodology is unique here. They take doubt classes every week. Teachers are helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is very practical here. If you want to score well, then you have to study hard. The passing percentage was 75 percent last year.
