MCA at MIT, MAHE is offered in the stream of IT & Software. There is no Manipal Institute of Technology entrance test conducted for the MCA course. Students can enrol for the same on a merit basis. Manipal Institute of Technology, also known as MIT Manipal currently offers UG & PG courses in the stream of Engineering and Computer Applications. These courses are BTech, MTech and MCA. All the courses at MIT Manipal are offered under several specialisations. Admissions to all the programmes are conducted under the guidance of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The Institute conducts a Manipal Entrance Test MET in three phases every year for admission to all its UG & PG courses, except for MCA. In addition to this, it also accepts GATE scores for MTech programme.
Manipal University's Department of Manipal Institute of Technology offers a four-year BTech course. Those who are seeking admission to BTech course are required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria as per the course requirements. Candidates who passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as main subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology or any technical vocational subject are eligible to apply for this course. They must have obtained 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and any other optional subject in combinations. This is a mandatory step to qualify for all the General Category Indian aspirants for MIT Manipal BTech admissions.
Manipal Institute of Technology offers an MCA course with IT and Software specialisations. The selection criteria for the programme is merit-based. Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted once every year. The exam score is valid for one exam session only. Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam with as many as 100 MCQs to be answered within 150 minutes. Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is administered annually by Karnataka Examination Authority. Karnataka PGCET acts as the gateway exam for admission into PG courses, including MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech. and M.Arch in the state of Karnataka.
Usually the Karnataka PGCET admit card is released 10 days before the exam, as per the past year trends. However, in the current session, candidates have been issued the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket around 6 days before the exam. Candidates aree allowed to download the Karnataka PGCET admit card until the exam date.
To download the Karntaka PGCET admit card candidates have to use Karnataka PGCET registration number and password.
