Really good college life and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students get placed every year. For CS-related branches, placements often exceed 95%. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Bosch, etc. Common job roles include software engineers, data analysts, consultants, business analysts, etc. The highest package is 50-60 LPA, with an average of 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs are awesome, with modern infrastructure; everything is functional, and the classrooms are cozy. The library is very quiet and contains many books. For Wi-Fi access, you need the administrator's permission. To mention the canteens, it is such a pleasurable mess in Manipal. The food tastes, ohh, not like home but also not less than it.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. No doubt they will help you a lot when you need them. You just have to be respectful, and boom, they are always ready to help you. The curriculum is mostly outdated, somewhat between industry-ready and not. To mention the exams, they are tough. They are really tough.
Other: I chose the college course because I liked every part of it. Manipal provides the best college experience you could ever imagine in a private college. To be more precise about my course, I chose it because it was the only CSE course I was taking. Otherwise, I would have had to take ECE. I am loving it now. Campus life is fire. You would love it. Probably the best campus life in India, even better than IITs.

B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering at MIT, MAHE, Manipal.
Placements: ABB, Altair Engineering, Aerx Labs, and Addverb Teach are mentioned recruiters in the field of aeronautical engineering. The mean package offered to aeronautical engineers is moderate, ranging from 5 to 7 LPA. The expected placement range is between 45 to 60%.
Infrastructure: The college management is highly oriented with students' ideas. It makes easier for students to connect with them. The management is well aware of its crucial responsibilities. The college has good networking, which helps students connect with higher professionals easily.
Faculty: Faculty members think from diverse perspectives because they are assigned a short period of time to cover the syllabus. Within such time, they ask us to write tests, teach lessons, and prepare students for examinations, which is usually a great deal for them.

M.Tech. in Microelectronics - Batch of 2023

Good infrastructure, good curriculum.
Placements: The placement scene is quite good. Actually, once you get an internship, you are expected to work hard and convert that internship into a placement. However, placements are offered. Various companies come in the second year of M.Tech to offer placements. But yes, many companies prefer B.Tech over M.Tech. Salary range from about 4.2 Lacs PA to 7.5 Lacs PA. No. The college does not provide an internship. However, it facilitates internships which are offered by various companies such as Philips Lighting, Wipro, CG, etc. The stipend offered by these companies ranges between 15k and 20k per month.
Infrastructure: One of the best sets of hostels available in the country. There are various lodging options such as single seater room, twin sharing room, single seater with common batch, attached bathroom, dormitory, etc. The rooms are well ventilated, airy and regularly maintained. The classroom has a centralised AC with a projector and board. Almost all books are there in the library, and a wide collection of journals. There are a lot of clubs, almost for everything. There is great exposure to the outside world as everything from sports to gym, from the garden to the lakes, is nearby on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and motivated. Many teachers here are pursuing their PhD in the field of Illumination, which makes learning from them even better. The course on Energy Auditing, Lighting system design, Building automation systems, etc., are courses that you will not find in many other engineering colleges. You are loaded with assignments and submissions, presentations, mini projects, etc. The exam structure is a continuous evaluation with 50 marks for the semester evaluation and 50 marks for the end semester evaluation.

A good opportunity for a great start.
Placements: I am studying at MIT, Manipal, ECE, in my first year. As of now, it is a great start, and I talked to many seniors, to summarize, I can say 90% placement in core streams. 99% placements in CSE, but it depends on your hard work, whether you are going in list of students who are not placed, and ample opportunities are given for higher studies.
Infrastructure: I stay in hostel block 5, room is small, but comfortable and sufficient. Moreover, depending on how you study, you get a choice of rooms, like if you are studying really good you have plenty of options in rooms like AC, non-AC, single seater, double seater, triple seater. But if you are not studying good and your CGPA is low, you have fewer options in room or sometimes the worst option or even no options, but then all rooms are good, it depends upon your needs. There is free Wi-Fi too.
Faculty: All instructions are given clearly, and we also get a trial chance to do everything, like answering a question or doing something in the lab. Student-to-teacher ratio is great, such that we can spend even 2 hours with them in their cabins. We also have multiple teachers in same subject, so we have an option to go to whichever teacher we like to solve our doubts. Whole syllabus is set in a way such that you need not go for extra coaching for GATE or other higher education entrance exams.
Other: Campus crowd is not a thing to worry about, if you have seen the crowd in VIT.

Decent college with okay placements and basic facilities.
Placements: I am from M.Tech Electronics batch of MIT. About 60% students were placed. Highest package was 12 LPA, lowest salary package was 3 LPA, and average package was around 5.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and Qualcomm came. 40% got internships at Wipro, Bosch, etc. Roles were mostly developer and analyst.
Infrastructure: Our depth had good labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms with projectors. Library also had enough books. Hostel was okay-okay, the rooms were a little small. Food in mess was not so good, but canteen was better. Medical help was available, but slow. A sports ground was there, but not much equipment.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knew things, but some did not teach well. Teaching quality is mixed. Syllabus was mostly relevant but not fully industry-type. Exams were a bit hard, need to study. Pass percent was around 75%. Some subjects were tough, some easy. It's quite good.
Other: I am from M.Tech Electronics batch. I chose this course because I like electronics and tech. Best part is lab work and some good teachers. But syllabus needs to be updated and include more projects. Fests happen, crowd is mixed, campus is fine. Need better Wi-Fi and more activities.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities are pretty good, as much as compared to the best engineering colleges in India. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, GE, Yamaha, Honeywell, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Maruti, Goldman Sachs, and many more. The packages for core roles go up to 18 LPA, the average is around 6 LPA, and MRCs offer around 3- 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are much better compared to other colleges, with the infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There are enough rooms to fit in all the students, plus all options all available, like single (AC/non-AC) and double (AC/non-AC). The mess food is good in terms of hygiene, but for obvious reasons, it becomes boring if you eat there every day.
Faculty: There is specialized faculty for every subject. Most of them have a Ph.D. or a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs. The structure consists of a total of 100 marks per subject in a semester. The first sessional is 20 marks, the second sessional is 20 marks, and again, 5 assignment tests (2 marks each) for 10 marks. The semester examination is of 50 marks. This is the structure for every theory subject in all semesters. The course structure is good enough in terms of understanding the concept, but it is not up to the mark when it comes to focusing on research. The selection of electives is based on the CGPA, and students with higher CGPAs usually fill the seats for more preferred electives.
