Good course and facilities in college.

Faculty: In my civil department there was a good faculty to student ratio. I am not aware of other departments. All the staff were either Ph.D. holders or were trying to get one. Thorough knowledge. The interactions were very peaceful. We could ask them anything anytime. Always helpful. The course was very effective. The course was revised a year ago when I joined. It was up to date. It helps us to deal with real world so many things I learnt are resonating with my job now. There were exams every 2 month...

Really good college life and infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. No doubt they will help you a lot when you need them. You just have to be respectful, and boom, they are always ready to help you. The curriculum is mostly outdated, somewhat between industry-ready and not. To mention the exams, they are tough. They are really tough.

B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering at MIT, MAHE, Manipal.

Faculty: Faculty members think from diverse perspectives because they are assigned a short period of time to cover the syllabus. Within such time, they ask us to write tests, teach lessons, and prepare students for examinations, which is usually a great deal for them.

Good infrastructure, good curriculum.

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and motivated. Many teachers here are pursuing their PhD in the field of Illumination, which makes learning from them even better. The course on Energy Auditing, Lighting system design, Building automation systems, etc., are courses that you will not find in many other engineering colleges. You are loaded with assignments and submissions, presentations, mini projects, etc. The exam structure is a continuous evaluation with 50 marks for the semester evaluation...

A good opportunity for a great start.

Faculty: All instructions are given clearly, and we also get a trial chance to do everything, like answering a question or doing something in the lab. Student-to-teacher ratio is great, such that we can spend even 2 hours with them in their cabins. We also have multiple teachers in same subject, so we have an option to go to whichever teacher we like to solve our doubts. Whole syllabus is set in a way such that you need not go for extra coaching for GATE or other higher education entrance exams.

Decent college with okay placements and basic facilities.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knew things, but some did not teach well. Teaching quality is mixed. Syllabus was mostly relevant but not fully industry-type. Exams were a bit hard, need to study. Pass percent was around 75%. Some subjects were tough, some easy. It's quite good.

My honest review of my college.

Faculty: There is specialized faculty for every subject. Most of them have a Ph.D. or a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs. The structure consists of a total of 100 marks per subject in a semester. The first sessional is 20 marks, the second sessional is 20 marks, and again, 5 assignment te...

Overall good if you have money and want to have the time of your life.

Faculty: Faculty members are somewhat fine depending on your branch. Teachers in the CSE department are somewhat good. I don't know about other departments. Course curriculum now is pretty good initially when I was in the first year it was not that good but in the second year, students started teaching important things.

Great infrastructure and faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and skillful at what they teach and help students individually if needed. Provide important materials and external sources to learn from. Course curriculum is designed to cater to the current world requirements and technologies. The sem exams are application-based and test your fundamentals of the subject.

Overall, decent college with good infrastructure and bad placements.

Faculty: Most teachers are good and experienced, some are approachable. Most have PhDs. Course Curriculum is relevant and up to date. Credits are allotted based on the program, around 40-50 credits per year. Students are made industry-ready by the course and are exposed to much learning by student clubs and especially student projects like TMR, Formula Manipal, RoboManipal, MRM, ThrustMIT, and AeroMit to name a few. Semester exams in 1st year are the same for all, the ease of exams depends on your prep i...

Really a good engineering college .

Faculty: The professors were helpful qualified and knowledgeable in their own fields of study. Course curriculum was relevant. Students were become ready for industry jobs. Semester examination of the college was quite tough. The passing marks was 40 percent.

MIT Manipal- a complete review of academics, hostel, and campus life.

Faculty: Most teachers are good, but there are some bad ones as well, as in any college. The course curriculum is the same for all first years. Honestly, it's not very relevant since everyone is made to study subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and EVS. But, some other subjects like electronics, electrical, and math are very much relevant for all students. There are two exams each semester, along with numerous quizzes and assignments. Semester exams are not too hard if you prepare 1-2 weeks in advance.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Faculty: Professors were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. But, remember since we were master's students, it was important to make a good relationship with professors for project approval. The course curriculum was relevant, and students were make on many real-life projects. The semester examinations were a little hard.

Absolutely satisfied because of the good infrastructure and technology.

Faculty: Exams are all conducted on an E-pad (like an iPad) to be more environmentally friendly, and exams are pretty competitive. All teachers have a Ph.D. and are well-trained. Exams are moderate to hard in terms of difficulty. Lab exams are also important.

A great college for socialists.

Placements: The placement percentage is about 60–70%, with the highest placement package at around 50 LPA and the average package at 10.49 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Qualcomm, and many others. Multiple internship opportunities are present during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, along with projects.
