The petroleum branch in MBM Jodhpur is hidden gold.

Placements: Around 60% to 75% of students were placed in petroleum. The highest package is 20 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA-3 LPA in the petroleum branch. Vedanta, Bharat Electronics, ONGC, OIL India, and JSW are top recruiting companies. Around 50%-60% of my seniors have done internships with many of India's biggest oil companies like BP, Bharatgas, ONGC, DRDO, HP, and many more.

Infrastructure: There is no WI-FI outside the library, and the speed is very low. Labs are good, and you have to take them regularly. The condition of first-year classrooms is not good, but they're developing year by year. Department classes are nice. The library is quite old. I have not seen any medical facilities. There are many sports, and many gaming items are here.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified if you ask them they will help you out curriculum is quite old but it is impactable it teaches us to do hard work in this college you have to do hard work either you will got fails semester exams are not that much difficult but some subjects like M1 & M2 are a little bit more challenging if you wanna pass you have to get 28 marks out of 70. You have to pass all mid-terms, it is held approximately every month, but they are easy to pass.

Other: I got this because I don't have any other option. The best thing about my petroleum course is its uniqueness. There is less competition, GATE is easy because of this, and the refinery is also in West Raj. So we are quite sure about jobs, but still we have to work hard, mostly here, guest faculty members' average events and fests took place, they are quite good and enjoyable.

Strong academic legacy with decent placements, but infrastructure needs improvements.

Placements: The Petroleum Engineering Department at MBM University Jodhpur is new, with 2025 being only its second batch. Two students are placed during campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The duration of the course is 4 years. Total tuition fee is approximately 1.96 Lacs for the entire course. The intake capacity is 60 students per batch.

Infrastructure: Department building is newly formed. Therefore campus for the petroleum department is better. Boys hostel and canteen are not good. Hostels are available for both boys and girls, offering basic amenities like furnished rooms, common areas, mess facilities, and 24/7 security. While hostels are affordable, some students feel the need for improvement, maintenance, and better recreational facilities. Overall, infrastructure supports academic needs but has room for enhancement.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but only if we ask them to be. Course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard. We can cover up all. The petroleum engineering faculty members at MBM University consist of experienced professionals and academicians with expertise in various aspects of the field. However, some students feel that more industry exposure and faculty training could enhance the teaching quality.

Other: Undergraduate programs like B.E. /B.Tech specializations include civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, information technology, electronics & communication engineering, mining engineering, chemical engineering, and more. The duration of these programs is typically four years. B.Arch is a five-year program in Architecture. Postgraduate Programs like M.E. /M. Tech specializations include structural engineering, power engineering, industrial engineering, computer science engineering, environment engineering, geotechnical engineering, and more. These programs usually span two years. MCA is a three-year master of computer applications program.

Good college and worthy to join.

Placements: Placements are good in the mining branch. Almost 100% of students get placed. Apart from this CS AND IT students also get placed in big companies. The overall college has a good placements record. Training and placement cell will help out during the placements drive. Seniors will guide you in a better way.

Infrastructure: As such infrastructure is not that good. The campus needs renovation. But still, I must say the campus has its vibe. You will enjoy your 4 years. In short worth it. Hostel facilities are okay. Hostels are good.

Faculty: Some professors are too good. They will help you out in most situations. But the college lacks faculty members. HOD of all departments is good. Dean and VC sir are the best. They try their level best to this university great. Rajasthan best university.

There are good placements in 2015, and the highest package in petroleum is 20 LPA.

Placements: In MBM College, 348 students got placed in 2024, and 45% of students get placed overall. The placement rate in our college reaches up to 95%. MBM Engineering College has a decent placement record. Especially in Computer Science, IT, and Electronics branches. The Training & Placement Cell of MBM works actively to invite companies and prepare students through training, aptitude tests, mock interviews, and more.

Infrastructure: The girls' hostel is very good, safe, and new. The quality of food in the mess is average. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner are served at fixed timings. The mess is managed with a focus on cleanliness and basic hygiene standards. Mess charges are usually separate from hostel fees and are collected monthly or quarterly.

Faculty: Teachers are very nice and helpful. They pay attention to practical knowledge. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in Rajasthan, with a strong alumni network across India and abroad. There are typically two main exams each year. Internal assessment is 30 marks, and there are two mid-term tests in a semester, each worth 20 marks.

Other: This college is best for mining. 95% of students get placed in this college. It was formerly affiliated with Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU). Now it has been an independent MBM University since 2021.

Nice Infrastructure, experienced faculty members, Contempt overall.

Placements: Around 75 percent students were placed the highest package was 18 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA while average being around 9 LPA The top recruiting companies were ONGC, Oil India Limited Around 80 percent got internship in places like Dehradun, Lucknow, Company being ONGC, Reliance Limited etc. Top Roles are Production Engineer, Drilling Engineer etc.

Infrastructure: Gladly the department of Petroleum is recently built in 2025 having all the modern facilities (AC, Library, Wi-Fi). The quality of hostel for first year are not that great but seniors have good ones, mess food is alright Sports facilities are there for cricket, basketball, tennis etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and are very much helping with their knowledge. Teaching quality is nice The course curriculum makes student ready for any type of situation regarding the branch and course later in their life Semester exams are tricky and makes people to think whilst pass percentage is high around 90 percent .

Other: I choose this as in coming future, petroleum is a blooming branch in engineering The best thing is the labs we works in To improve I would like to have AV screens teaching Events, fest happens all around the year and are fun to participate in .

Petroleum Engineering review.

Placements: The placements for specifically petroleum department were quite nice. The highest package outperformed even Computer Science, being 20lacs and the average was around 10 lacs. The major recruiter was ONGC and other government. Organisations. You can easily get internships in good organisations from 2nd year onwards. And ONGC gives great internships as well.

Infrastructure: The petroleum department has just finished construction so the facilities will be quite nice, apart from that, the hostels are usually of very poor quality and students who can afford, choose to stay in PG? S and nearby housing than the hostels. Quality of food in the hostels is also below par.

Faculty: The teachers are nice and helpful, all of them are prominent qualified as well. But the difficult of exams and overall checking is quite hard compared to other government colleges. One needs to maintain good image and attend classes regularly to ensure a good score in semester exams.

Other: There are no cultural as such, there is a sports fest which is really good. The course is great, not too much course loads as well. Overall, college life won? T be the best but the reputation and alumni network will really help in future.

Placements: 20 percent students are placed from my course in last year the highest package is 20.71 from my course Lacs the lowest was 6 Lacs from my course Tata, hp, relience, maruti suzuki, toyata, and others company are come Manager in many companies and others .

Infrastructure: Good facility and infrastruct are available in my college good condition of library classrooms and labs are available good quality of facilities in your hostel the quality of food available in good quality of the mess and canteen all medical facilities are available .

Faculty: Best teaching quality and knowledgeable the teachers are very helpful and good behaviour the teachers are good Yes The level of the semester exams are moderate level in our college the passing percentage of my college is minimum 50 percent in my college .

Our college provides 100% for computer science students.

Placements: A student must score a minimum of 60% to get placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IOCL, BPL, etc. About 10% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is not good in our college and hostel. The library of our college is good and filled with books. Our department is not open. All classes are conducted in the pharmacy department.

Faculty: All teachers are not permanent and are not well-knowledgeable. There was only one teacher who had 30 years of experience. Almost 70% of attendance is required. They conduct practicals and vivas. During the covid, exams were conducted online mode. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: Our college should improve classes by conducting in its department.
