Review of MBM Jodhpur, mining branch.
Placements: The average package of MBM mining is 16 LPA, so it's a decent placement. Our 2 seniors of 2025, batch got an international placement. The placement status is far better than any other branch of our university. The various alumni of our university are placed in good positions, that is also a plus point in placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too old. The mining department is one of the old ones, having two artificial mines in it. Some boys' hostels are a blend of both old and new buildings. It depends on your luck and seniority, the food is average, not that good, but the prices are very budget-friendly. The girls' hostel is all newly constructed, but the issue is with the food, which is of very poor quality.
Faculty: Well-qualified faculty members, teaching style is a bit old, but it comprises experience, as they have been in this field for a long time. Faculty are very supportive. But our alumni network is so strong and vast that we get help and advice in every field. Semester exams are not that tough.

The college has really good faculty members who support you to make your future bright.
Placements: In every year, more than 400 students are placed in many different companies through the campus placement activities. The highest placement rate is in mechanical engineering, mining engineering, and electrical engineering courses. This college is best for electrical and mining engineering courses.
Infrastructure: There is a huge campus. There are 8 departments and each department has its own building. The whole campus is divided into two parts which are called North campus and South campus. In every department, a seminar hall is established for students and teachers activities. In each department, the labs are stabilized for good practical knowledge and classrooms for good study. For students staying hostels are provided that are divided into more than 7 sections, and each section has a capacity of staying over 150 students and girls hostel is provided separately.
Faculty: There is a great number of faculty members, approximately 1000 faculty members. There are many curriculum activities, as many different clubs are established for students' social, economic, and industrial knowledge. All teachers are well qualified with an M.Tech or Ph.D. The semester exams are moderately hard, and you have to score 35% to pass the exam.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and good placements in 2022.
Placements: Around 80% of students in this college secure placements. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Vedanta, Adani, JK Cement, Wonder Cement, etc. The roles offered in my course are GET, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite old. Hostels are also old. However, classrooms are equipped with smart classroom facilities. Despite the infrastructure being old, the college does not have Wi-Fi. The library is well-maintained. Hostels are old. The quality of the food is good. The college excels in sports and games.
Faculty: In the college, around 80% of the faculty members hold a Ph.D. They have excellent teaching experience. It is considered to have the best engineering faculty in Rajasthan Engineering in Rajasthan. Exams are a bit difficult. It requires a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 to pass the theory exams and 50 marks out of 100 to pass the practical exam.

College was decent and placement ratio is good.
Placements: From the seventh semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies have visited, such as Vedanta, Adani, Walmart, Ambuja Cement, etc. The highest placement is 51 LPA, which is an off-campus placement from Microsoft, while the highest on-campus placement is 20 LPA for the Petroleum branch, and the average package is 7 LPA. Students must have a CGPA above 7 for placements.
Infrastructure: The campus life is decent. In the library, all engineering books are available. The condition of first-year classrooms is not good, but the department classrooms, which are used after the first year, are in good condition. There are two big grounds for cricket and football, as well as a tennis court and a basketball court. There are many clubs at MBM, such as the Debating Club, Dancing Club, Singing Club, Literature Club, Photography Club, etc.
Faculty: This course is in demand in the market. You can get good placements around 15 LPA. To achieve this placement, you have to study hard and maintain an 8+ CGPA. The teachers are well-qualified and Ph.D. holders. In our department, the teachers are very helpful and qualified.

It is the second oldest college in India.
Placements: In the previous year, almost all students got placed in our college with an average salary package of 10 LPA. In other branches, the highest salary package offered was 32 LPA. Most of the students from CSE, IT, and ECE got placed. In the core branches, few companies visited our college. Top recruiting companies were Cerebral, Cent, Vedanta, and Adani. Top roles offered were graduate engineer trainee in core and software engineers in IT.
Infrastructure: Our college provides basic facilities. Wi-Fi is available in the college. Classrooms are not good for 1st year as all classes are conducted in LTH. Each department has decent classrooms. Laboratories are not up to the mark. Each department has its separate library and a common library for 1st year. Medical facilities are not available in our college. The quality of the mess food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-knowledgeable and supportive. They will help students with every prospect. The course curriculum is old but it makes students industry-ready. It is difficult to pass the 1st-year exam but if students study well, they can easily get 65% in exams.
Other: I am expecting more than 80% of placements in our batch. The course curriculum should get updated.

Our college is good but students have to study on their own.
Placements: Most of the mining students get placed every year. The salary package offered was 12 LPA in 2022. Vedantu hired 17 students with salary packages of 12 LPA and others got placed at Adani and AAC Mining. Around 26 out of 28 students got placed in 2022. Roles are offered after basic training. The mining department will provide 90 days internship in the 2nd and 3rd years.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in some departments, libraries, and hostels. Each department has its library and a college library for 1st-year students. The infrastructure of our college is old. LTH rooms provided for 1st-year students are in very bad condition. Canteen facilities, sports groups, and events are available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well knowledgeable and qualified. They conduct only a few classes. There is no need for 75% attendance. Semester exams are a little difficult but students who study can easily pass the exam with 60-65%.

Yes, all faculty are good some branches have no teachers for some subject so this problem be solved.
Placements: 100% placement in mining, and good placement record for earlier years, and thus faculty was good. Regular classes are here, and weekly assignments and discipline are strictly in the mining branch, so this is a good point in college life. And mining department has underground mining for practicals.
Infrastructure: The food is average & the faculty was brilliant, the campus infrastructure needs to be changed, the labs were well-maintained & the fest here is short, the classes were not neat and clean, and the Wi-Fi facilities were poor. The library was there & some books were not available.
Faculty: There is a fail system in this college & a semester is back if four are back in 12 subjects. So, this is a down-and-out system in our college. We want to remove this system because this system holds back students who did not get their degrees on time. So, this failed system wants to eliminate our college.

Yes, you have a good chance of getting admission in MBM Jodhpur Mining branch with your score. Students have to appear for JEE Main followed by REAP counselling. Most seats are for Rajasthan domiciles, but you may apply for unreserved/ open category seats. The cutoff trends for the EWS category are

Lateral entry is allowed to only diploma and B.Sc candidates.
Other candidates can also get entry but by direct admission only for which you have to apply for direct admission which is in the month of august only in the prescribed date after that you won't be able to get entry.
