B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2029

Best infrastructure and facilities with good placement records.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students are getting placed in the university. In the college, the lowest package is about 2 to 3 LPA, and the average package for the CSE branch is 8 LPA, while the highest is about 44 LPA. Top recruits are TCS and Infosys, and students become software engineers and data analysts.
Infrastructure: In the college, the classrooms are air-conditioned, and perfect lighting is present in the classrooms. The college library is also brilliant and amazing. All books are available in the library. The mess and hostel facilities are also very good, and sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: All the professors help solve doubts, and all teachers are highly educated and teach very well. The students are involved in many clubs like SRC and SAC, which improve their leadership qualities. In the semester, exams are average to difficult.

RTU's honest review, which includes a description of various things related to college.
Placements: Honestly, the college is not that good for Computer Science placement. Most of the students are placed off campus in this branch, whereas in branches like electrical and civil, good placements are seen in this college. Overall, the college is good. If you engage yourself in activities, study properly, and focus on your skills too, you can excel. The study environment is also okay, and some teachers are really good, and some are just you know teach 1 day, and it's over from their side.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure combines both new and old buildings. The labs are okay, some work, some don't. My branch CS department building is quite good, and others are also okay. Hostels are okayish since I am a day scholar, I don't know a lot about them. The roads inside the college are also good and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are actually good in 1st year, it was our batch's good luck to get the good teachers out of all. Some faculty are really good, some are okayish, some are not at all good, it depends on teacher to teacher. Exams are of a good level, if you study, you will definitely score well. Curriculum is still somewhat old-fashioned, but somewhat need to be taught.
Other: Events happen. Minimum twice to thrice in a month. Scholarship is available to the reservation categories, not the general. Extra-curricular activities are available, like sports, dance, music, and others. I wish they would stop teaching those things, like I am a CS student, so they should focus on my coding skills rather than machine drawings. The surroundings are okay. You need to find good people among you. You have to choose your own company.

Faculty members are fine, but the placement rate is really low for computer science and IT.
Placements: Placements in computer science are pretty average. Although off campus placements are pretty high for students. Sometimes, companies come for the drive but don't select students. Placements for core fields are still pretty high. But for tech fields like mine, the average package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The new buildings, like the computer centre, are clean and maintained. But the old buildings and blocks really need to be taken care of. The greenery around the college is something that would make the environment feel beautiful, especially during the rain. The only major problem is that we have to always use our own laptops since computers in the labs don't work at all. There is no internet connection in labs.
Faculty: Faculty members in my course are pretty knowledgeable, and most of them teach well. Exams are set high, but the preparation doesn't take much.

Internships were not given to most of the students as it is very difficult to get an on-campus internship without any referral.

It has good placements, natural beauty, and a good and healthy atmosphere.
Placements: Around 30 percent of students got placed this year in companies around India. A large number of placements occurred in the electrical engineering branch this year. Around 50 percent of students got internships in different companies. The top roles offered in my course are software engineers and data analysts.
Infrastructure: Campus ambiance is very beautiful. The greenery is maintained really well. Wi-Fi is available in every department, including the library. Classrooms are well-maintained and clean. Labs have proper equipment for learning. The mess food is of good quality. Canteens are also available in the campus area for snacks.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and skilled. They help a lot in studies and exams. Recently, they cleared doubts of students about the GATE exams. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass mark is 36 out of 100.
Other: I am interested in this course, so I chose it. The best thing about my course is that it's interesting to study. Topics are easy but lengthy. The campus crowd is really good. Students are always excited and enthusiastic about college fests and club events. The college hosts two fests every year, one a technical fest named Thar and a cultural annual day fest named Anukriti.

Review of Rajasthan Technical University by its students.
Placements: In my CSE course, there are around 120 students. Almost every year, many top companies come to our college to conduct drives and offer paid internships to students. They hire for various roles such as software developers, data analysts, web developers, and cybersecurity enthusiasts. The highest package offered in our college is 44 LPA. The average package is 6.5 LPA. This is almost the same for every branch in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good and is even better than some NITs. The campus is around 385 acres of land, which is larger than many NITs. There are five hostels on the campus, each with playgrounds and basketball courts in front of it. The classrooms in our branch are equipped with projectors and digital screens. Labs have computers with software that is paid for, but provided for free on the lab computers.
Faculty: There is a good teacher-to-student ratio in our college, which is around 1:30. All teachers have completed their graduation from premier institutes such as IITs and many international colleges. The course curriculum followed here is relevant to the current job market. Semester exams conducted are of medium difficulty, or we can say they are just slightly above the medium level. The passing percentage of students is around 80 to 85 percent.
Other: I chose this college over others as it stands out at the tier-one level. The infrastructure is quite good compared to other colleges.
