Good learning environment with supportive faculty and decent placements.

Placements: Here are some of the common roles are software developer/programmer, web developer (front-end/back-end/full stack), data analyst/junior data scientist, technical support engineer, it support/system administrator, database administrator (trainee), quality assurance (qa)/software testing engineer, cybersecurity analyst (entry level in some companies), and bpo/technical process associate (in some placement drives)..

Infrastructure: Our department provides good academic facilities for students. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, equipped with projectors and whiteboards for effective teaching. The computer labs have sufficient systems with internet connectivity for practical sessions, and Wi-Fi is available within the campus for students. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, reference materials, and journals related to Computer Science. Apart from this, the college also provides seminar halls, reading spaces, and basic amenities that support learning and overall development.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. They explain concepts clearly and provide guidance during practical sessions as well. Most of them are approachable and supportive, especially when it comes to doubts, assignments, and career-related advice. The overall teaching quality is good, with a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge that helps in understanding the core concepts of Computer Science.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Computer Science because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and problem-solving. This course provides a good foundation in Computer Science concepts and helps in building analytical as well as practical skills that are essential for a career in IT.

College is very good. I recommend it for students who have passed 12th this year.

A good college in Meerut for the computer science branch.

Placements: Hi, I am a 2023 batch student, Taniya Tyagi, and I am doing a B.Sc. Computer Science from Meerut College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Placements are not good, really, but average. I think it is the best college for B.Sc. Computer Science in our area, Meerut, so there are other courses provided by the college.

You can join the college if you belong to a modest family background.

Placements: Average colleges offer moderate placement opportunities, mainly in mid-level companies. Packages are decent but not high. Placement support varies, proactive students benefit most. Internships and soft skills training can improve chances. I loved everything..

Infrastructure: A decent hostel with basic amenities, clean dorms, friendly staff, and a social vibe. Great for budget travelers and backpackers. Some areas may lack luxury, but overall it's a value-for-money stay with a welcoming atmosphere. And everything is good.

Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, the curriculum is well-structured with practical relevance. Exams are fair, focusing on understanding over rote learning. Overall, it's a balanced course offering strong academic and real-world skills. I'm satisfied.

College is good with better opportunities.

Placements: Placements at this college are not so good. Placement option is good only for the master's degree, not so good for undergraduate program. So I do not get placements because I am pursuing graduation. If I complete my master's here, I will get a placement option.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite good. The rooms are great space but the building of our college is several years old so no modular classes are expected. Library is quite good having Wi-Fi and a good study environment. I am a day scholar so I have no idea about hostels. Canteen is quite good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in preparing for the examination and in uplifting our knowledge. Also, helpful to deal with your daily life and gives us advice. Faculty members provide notes and books to help with examinations and get good grades. Exams are held in a good environment.

Hi Tanu, Admissions are all open now since May 2019. They normally close by Mid July. Also note admissions in all Law colleges are entrance based.

The highest merit index is 89. And least in the merit list is 67. This is for unreserved category.

For OBC- cut off is 64.2.

For SC - cut off is 46.27.

In Meerut College there are 330 seats for LL.B. for which the only criteria set is 10+2 completed from a recognized board. The cutoff for boards is 75% minimum and the admission is simply on the merit basis of class 12th marks. You can easily apply through their website and as such there is no issue
