The seat allotment is based on the affiliated college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges.

Candidates should have passed Class 12 from UP board/ CBSE or any other equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% aggregate in Class 12 (40% for SC/ ST candidates) is eligible for the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech programme. Candidates must also have a valid score in the JEE Main exams or in CUET exam.
