MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2027

Nice college with academics but only a few cultural programs.
Placements: In our course, everyone who passes gets the opportunity to do an internship at the same college hospital, which I’m sure is the case in every medical college. After the internship, students can either opt for doing postgraduation or can practice as general practitioners in hospitals. Placements are not actually provided by the college but are sought and chosen by the students themselves.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college include the hostel, gym, library for maximum reference, mess facilities, canteen facilities, and areas for sports like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, throwball, etc. The food from the hostel is quite okay, but it is not very tasty. It is just satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are very qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very well. Every aspect is understandable and knowledgeable. The curriculum we are following is competency-based medical evaluation, which is a bit tougher than the previous curriculum but is student-friendly and gives freedom. It makes the students competent. This course is highly curriculum-relevant and shapes future doctors. The year-end university exams are of moderate difficulty, but the pass percentage is around 95%.
Other: Our batch contains 150 students. I chose this course because I liked it very much. The best things here are that we get to interact with many people and be the light in the lives of many people. A few scholarships provided by the government are also available in the college, but there aren't many of them. There are many events in the college. Satisfactory.

Good teaching and facilities but not the expected colors of college life.
Placements: Actually, there are no placements here. Most students work here as medical officers (MOs) after completing the course, and our college provides a good salary. Some others prepare for NEET PG, while a small group enters other hospitals or goes abroad for further studies or jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has classrooms with smart class facilities, different labs, a dissection hall, Wi-Fi, demonstration and seminar rooms, etc. It also has a library with many medical books and a study hall. Hostel facilities are good compared to other colleges, with 4 or 3 people in one room, a mess hall, and a TV. The food is not bad, with non-veg daily. There are two football grounds, two basketball courts, a tennis court, etc.
Faculty: Most teachers are good, with some exceptions. Smart classrooms help with understanding. The curriculum is relevant. Exams conducted by our college are tough compared to university exams, but they help students score better in university exams. In the first year, most students fail, but from the second year onwards, most pass, with 20-30 failures.
Other: This course is more about service, and there are many job opportunities. I think students struggle a lot with attendance. The events held here are mainly medical conferences. Arts and sports fests have been held since last year, but there is little support from management.

A good medical college, excellent faculty members, and academic quality.
Placements: Our batch consists of one hundred and fifty students. Later, after passing the first year, it reduced to one hundred and thirty-seven. The highest package for NRI students is 20 Lacs per year for 5 years, and the merit package consists of approximately 6.5 Lacs for our batch.
Infrastructure: Hospital infrastructure is developing day by day with centralized AC facilities in all lecture halls and clinical classrooms, with Wi-Fi facilities available in the hospital. We also have a well-ventilated library with an enormous number of good quality, up-to-date books, which even include postgraduate coaching books.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with a supportive mentality, and they prefer interactive classes over mere one-way communication. They follow the exact NMC guidelines and CBME curriculum with Small Group Discussions, Self-Directed Learning, and Simulated Video Lecture classes. The semester exams are of an adequate level of difficulty, following the current curriculum, and the pass percentage last year was 100%.
Other: Campus life is average due to a lack of holidays. Extracurricular activities are encouraged now with training sessions and duty leaves.

I am satisfied with my college as it helps in all aspects.
Placements: In my batch, at first, there were hundred and fifty students, and now it turned out to be hundred and thirty-seven as the rest of them had a year back. The highest package is for NRI students, around 20 Lacs. Then for the merit quota, it is around 6 Lacs per year.
Infrastructure: My college gives me good infrastructure with well-educated, highly qualified faculty members with all-time availability. It also has a well-equipped, centralized air-conditioned classroom, 24-hour availability of a library, and well-developed and well-equipped laboratories.
Faculty: The teachers are so approachable and friendly. All are highly qualified and well-educated with high teaching quality. I found this course to be more relevant as it is a 100% placement assured course. The exams are a bit difficult in pattern, but they help us a lot in improving our studies.
Other: I personally chose this course as I like to serve the public.

Academically one of the top 10 in India.
Placements: In our batch, there are 150 students. As it is an MBBS course, we are selected based on NEET marks, with some reserved seats for OBC, SC, ST, Muslim minority, etc., as well as NRI seats. After completing the course, we have to do an internship in our college itself, which is a one-year bond.
Infrastructure: There are air-conditioned lecture halls available for each batch separately, a central library with most standard textbooks, Wi-Fi, and all medical laboratory settings. Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls, along with mess facilities, and a canteen is also present.
Faculty: The teachers here are well-experienced and qualified, and they are very helpful. However, since MBBS is a professional course, most topics require self-learning. We follow the CBME curriculum, which is highly relevant and makes students competent.
Other: I chose this course because of the respect doctors receive in our society.

Our college is the best in academic matters.
Placements: 2020 batch MBs. We have one hundred and fifty students, according to quota-wise NRI, MERIT, and SC and ST. Everyone who passed out of college got jobs in good hospitals, and they are all well secured economically as well as professionally. We all have good facilities.
Infrastructure: There is no free wifi, but labs, classroom facilities, and library facilities are good. We have almost all international textbooks, and it is open 18 hours a day. We have 4 members in each room and there is 24-hour electricity and good ventilation in room
Faculty: Professionally and academically, our college is the best. Senior professors take lectures, and it's the best part. Curriculum teaches us not only how to be a good doctor but also to be a good person and maintain interpersonal relationships. Exam difficulty depends on the year we study. The final year is a little more difficult.
Other: I chose this course because it was my dream to become a doctor, and my parents also wished the same. College should include more extracurricular activities.
