Good faculty, engaging crowd, vibrant campus and balanced academics
Placements: Since this is a core humanities and multidisciplinary programme, direct on campus corporate placements are relatively fewer compared to commerce and tech streams. However, the college placement cell actively shares internship opportunities in NGOs, research, writing, etc. Most students use this experience to build their future CVs or prepare for higher education or government jobs.
Infrastructure: The overall quality provided was good, although it needed little improvement. The food in the canteen is great; hygiene is maintained and the staff is quite hospitable and friendly. The prices are a little high and should be reduced. Wi-Fi is available in almost all corners of campus. The facilities for sports and games are exceptionally great; courts and fields are properly maintained. The college also has a medical facility which is very efficient. The campus is very green. It holds the title of the greenest campus.
Faculty: Teacher here are well versed in their respective fields. Their experience speaks for itself. They are highly approachable, friendly and supportive. Always, stay on schedule and meet academic goals. The syllabus is well structured and flexible enough to give space for every discipline. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with questions testing student's overall knowledge.
Other: Campus life is vibrant with students from diverse backgrounds, different clubs, annual departmental fests and cultural societies. There are plenty of opportunities to participate in every field. The overall environment is inclusive and safe.

Good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Miranda House package stood at 19 LPA and 7.6 LPA. Also many internship and externship opportunities are provided by Miranda House to its students. Some of the top recruiters are Accenture and ICICI. Around 2-5 percent of the students in my department got placements.
Infrastructure: Miranda has the best library. The Digital Research Centre is equipped with working desktops and is well air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi facilities are good but there might be no internet connection in some areas. The hostel facilities and environment are also great.
Faculty: The teachers of Miranda House are very supportive and well qualified. They teach us every topic before exams. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The exam level is moderate. The passing percentage is around 79 percent.
Other: I chose B.A. in Economics and Mathematics because it has a quantitative and analytical touch to it and is not theoretical. The fest and campus crowd are amazing and full of life.

Good food people teachers infrastructure and life.
Placements: I have not completed my course yet I am not in a state to review on this but as per my seniors placement in mathematics department is not as good as other departments. I wont recommend anyone to pursue mathematics honors in Miranda House UD.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good and it is much better than my expectations. Wi-Fi is available but it fluctuates a lot so most of the time it is useless. Classrooms and library are good. Mess food is okay sports training is also active and the best part is NCC.
Faculty: Teachers of my department mathematics honors are really great teachers all are highly qualified and experienced. They clear our every doubt too calmly that we never hesitate to ask any doubt that comes to our mind. My overall experience so far is really great.
Other: I chose B.Sc. I chose Mathematics Honors as my course. I really love to solve complex problems and run my brain. It is the subject I can study even at 2 am the time when I often find it hard to mug up any theoretical subjects. There is not one way to approach a question we can approach a solution in multiple ways.

Miranda Review- The Heart of North campus.
Placements: Quite a few students receive placements in Miranda House every year. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, YN, and Google. Top roles include consulting, teaching, data analysis, finance, and marketing. The highest internship offered is 19.5 LPA. Miranda is great in terms of internships and placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are AC-installed. Wi-Fi works decently but not very well. Labs and digital resources are good. The library looks ancient but is quite resourceful and helpful for students. The canteen food is good quality as well as taste-wise. It is reasonably priced. However, the hotel has very limited no of seats.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and resourceful. They're friendly and enthusiastic to teach. They're approachable and open to doubt-solving. Academics are great and competitive. The curriculum is quite relevant and appropriate. Semester exams are reasonably difficult.
Other: I chose my course because I really wanted to study economics. Everything is great.

A student guide to Miranda House.
Placements: The latest placement cycle for Miranda House for the graduation batch of 2025-26 records over 200 students being placed. The highest, average, and lowest packages range from Rs. 24 LPA to 8.8 LPA in sectors such as consulting, finance and banking, technology, education, sales, operations/HR, etc. Some notable recruiters are KPMG, Barclays, ZS Associates, Accenture, ICICI Bank, BCG, Yes Bank, etc. For B.A. Programme students especially, placement outcomes can vary depending on the combination and skill sets. Internship opportunities are another add-on, with the highest internship stipend reaching up to Rs. 3 Lacs in policy, research, etc.
Infrastructure: The vast campus of Miranda House is not just designed with heritage buildings and greenery but also accommodates every form of facility a student may need in modern times. We have more than 110 lecture halls, with most of them ICT-enabled. We also have advanced laboratories and research-oriented equipment. Our campus is also Wi-Fi enabled. We have one of the largest libraries in Delhi University, with availability of books, magazines, e-resources, and much more, such as the Amba Dalmia Resource Centre, providing accessible technology and resources.
Faculty: Experienced and academically skilled faculty, particularly in the Political Science department. A mentor-mentee system is provided to help students and provide guidance. Teaching is not limited to lectures but also encourages debates and exposure. For the curriculum, we follow the NEP 2022 system. We have 2 DSCS alongside which we have GE, SEC, VAC, AEC courses, allowing us to explore a wide variety of subjects. The semester exams are meant not just to judge your learning capabilities but also your skill-based and value-based knowledge.
Other: The campus life at Miranda House is vibrant, with a welcoming atmosphere and its red-brick British architecture on display. The college being in North Campus is a big advantage. We have easy access to other DU colleges, inter-college events, and competitions. With students from diverse disciplines, Miranda provides opportunities to everyone. Tempest, the major highlight of the year, is one of the best DU fests. Overall, Miranda is not just academics but societies, events, internships, networking, and whatnot.

Miranda House is the dream for zoologists.
Placements: Miranda does not provide an internship or placement offer for my course, but they have other options for students to get a job after they complete their Master's. They provide internships in lab work, lab interns, etc. Courses are very relevant to the industry, which makes students industry-ready.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Miranda houses is very beautiful. They have high-tech labs for students, and they provide Wi-Fi, but the speed of that Wi-Fi is very poor. Classrooms have air conditioning, and they have a library, which is not very big, but on the moderate side, you can find course-related books.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are very qualified. Some of them have completed their graduation from Harvard. They have a high level of education, and they provide a very good quality of teaching. The course is very relevant, it makes you industry-ready. The semester exams are not very hard if you concentrate in class, you score good marks in your examination.
