Reality check on MIT, Barshi.

Placements: Placements are disappointing. One student got 21 LPA 4 years ago, and his poster is still used for admissions today, with nothing recent to show. Worse, several placed students were later let go by their companies. Placement support needs great improvement.

Infrastructure: Classroom infrastructure is honestly not great. Projectors in most classrooms don't work properly. Half the time, faculty members end up struggling to teach without them or wasting class time trying to fix them. The seating capacity in some classrooms is also an issue, as they are cramped and not comfortable for long lectures. Basic maintenance and upgrades are needed on this front. Hostel-wise, facilities are fine, and all basics are covered, but water cuts are a recurring issue that needs attention too.

Faculty: Faculty here is genuinely bad at teaching. The curriculum feels outdated compared to industry needs. What's worse is the exam paper checking. It's extremely unreliable. A friend of mine wrote a complete, well-attempted paper but got only 17 marks. After applying for evaluation, the same paper was awarded 57 marks. This kind of inconsistency raises serious questions about how papers are actually evaluated.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics/communication after my Electrical Diploma. The curriculum is outdated, and faculty teaching needs improvement. Events, connectivity, and extracurricular activities are all average, with nothing special.
