School of Architecture Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

MIT School of Architecture considers entrance exam scores for admission. The school accepts GATE or PERA CET scores for M.Arch and MPlan programmes. The selection for BArch programme is based on NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 scores of the candidates. Hence, direct admission is not possible.

Candidates must pass Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering or Technology or Master's degree in allied fields such as Geography, Sociology or Economics with at least 55% aggregate or 5.50 CGPA out of 10 to apply for MPlan at MIT School of Architecture. There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates.

Aspirants with exceptional abilities and have passed graduation in relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate with at least 15 years of professional experience after graduation in the related field can apply for PhD programme at MIT School of Architecture. However, there eligibility is subject to the approval of competent authoty of MIT ADT University.

To be eligible for BArch at MIT School of Architecture, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and secured at least 50% marks from a recognised board. Alternatively, students with a 10+3 Diploma recognised by central/state governments with Mathematics as a compulsory subject can also apply.

BArch: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake.

MArch: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake. The institute also offer scholarships to students against writing research papers or similar work.

MPlan: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake

Yes, MIT SOA offers a full-time BArch course. The duration of the course is five years, spread acorss ten semesters. Admission to the MIT SOA BArch course is done through a valid score of either NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. The seat intake for this course is 80. Candidates can fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, as mentioned below, to apply for the course:

MIT SOA BArch course structure and credits are given below:

• 262 Credit programme over 10 semesters.
• 120 working days of professional training in architectural offices, allied firms and corporate offices.
• Skill courses, technology courses, design courses and knowledge courses included in the core subjects, Multi Disciplinary electives from Art, Design, Technology and skill domains starting from Vth semester, for overall development of the students.

MIT SOA MPlan is offered with speicialisation in Urban and Regional Planning. The duration of the course is two-years, spread over four semesters. The curriculum of the programme is designed to help shape the policies to combat global warming and contribute to the creation of self-sufficient communities. The MIT SOA MPlan includes the following coursework:

• 8 Weeks Professional Training in Govt. Semi-Govt and Private Offices between 2nd and 3rd Sem

• Planning Studios on Area Development, City Development and Regional Development along with Integrated Core Courses and Electives.
