Not satisfied with the placements and the infrastructure is small.
Placements: No good placements were offered in our batch as a year of our college was completely wasted in covid with all the lectures and exams being held online. Many big companies started layoffs and the college’s placements cell is not very strong to approach companies to hire students. 40% students in the final year got placed in Reliance, TCS, Cognizant, etc. TCS and Cognizant hire students off-campus through superset platform. Mostly, the students placed in TCS get 4 Lacs package.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not massive, it has a single building having a small library with books arranged in the shelves consisting of all academic and non academic books being available. Classrooms have digital projectors, boards, fans and ACs available. I will not recommend the hostel, I left it within 6 months because of the facilities and food quality being unacceptable. No sports or games are conducted by the management .
Faculty: MCA provides the right platform for programming and also gives way to get into the IT industry. The faculty of Modern college is so good and has supportive teaching staff who always direct the students on the right path. The faculty of Modern college is well experienced and their teaching method is understandable. If you study hard, it wouldn't be hard to pass. 27 marks is needed out of 70 to pass which is an easy deal.
