B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2013

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members and unnecessary fines.
Placements: There were no placements, and none of the students from our batch got placed through campus placements. There were no top recruiters for our course. From the 2009- 2013 batch, internships were very poor. Students have to pay unnecessary fines.
Infrastructure: There is a very poor infrastructure for labs. There is no anything in labs other than OA. The hostel environment is good, and the food served is average. Mobiles are not allowed inside the campus, and if students are caught with mobiles, then they have to pay fine.
Faculty: In our college, just B.Tech graduates are working as lab assistants and teachers. They did their M.Tech recently. Some professional lecturers for subjects like signal and systems, AWP, ECA and AC are good, but for other subjects, teachers are not good. There are no standards in teaching, and there will be no conceptual teaching. They don't clarify doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. PSU, government and private industries offer many opportunities for engineers. EC has separate hope. Other than communication subjects like AWP, CMC, there will no other subjects.
Other: EC is one of the best courses, which helps us in getting many opportunities in the public sector, private sector, software IT and core jobs. I wish that our college should provide in-depth knowledge of telecommunications. Events and fest organised here are simply superb, but inter politics ruined them.

Satisfied, feeling happy for making changes in college.
Placements: Nearly 10% students were placed in my course, and the highest package is 13LPA, there are so many top companies are recruited like Infosys, google, Amazon. And so many students got internship from our course in internshala And more. Last year a total of 650+ students recruited in campus selection.
Infrastructure: Our college has a central library which contains a lot of books and compitative books to gain the knowledge. And our college has scheduled one class for every week for library hour. College is providing hostel for girls and has 2 canteens and a big play ground as well as Cricket ground.
Faculty: Our department has experienced and senior faculty members, all our faculty has completed M tech, some of faculty has completed Ph.D. they are encouraging so much to prepare for placements. Our department HOD also helping and encouraging for my future. And some changes to be done in department for placements in Electronic companies.
