Really good college for studying B.Tech but not good for post graduation.
Placements: There were no placements for the last year students. It may be due to covid-19 but the college is also not keen on providing placement opputunity to students. Civil engineering feild itself is very low right now with no good jobs and average salaries.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent lab facilities for both concrete technology and also for computer aided design software like STAAD PRO and ETABS. There are good ventilated classrooms and seminar halls. College library is excellent with all books available and online journals, NPTEL classes are also provided.
Faculty: There are some qualified teachers and some not so qualified. The course is not upto industry standard and only a couple of subjects and labs are relevant to industry. The semester exams are conducted by osmania University and are quite tough. In my batch the pass percentage was above 90%. .
Other: I chose to do this course due to lack of opportunities after completion of B.Tech. I think it would be better to include internships instead of thesis because the is little to no guidance from faculty. Many events are held at M.J. COLLEGE due to its location in the heart of the city. Scholarship is provided by Government of Telangana.
