B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2021

Everything I like about this college.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, BHEL, and Tata Steel. The top roles are technical authors and sound engineers. 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. I have studied in a hostel for 4 years, and the overall experience has been. The canteen facilities and mess are decent. The college infrastructure is good. The laboratories are good. The classrooms are decent. The books are available in the library. The Wi-Fi facility is also available. The medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teachers are well-educated and highly qualified. They have good knowledge and experience. The teachers are friendly. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. The semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 65%.

An average college with average infrastructure.
Placements: We are having very less placement compared to past years and other colleges, and all the companies are software companies. No core for EEE, Mechanical, Civil, and Automobile students, and many companies have eligibility just for CSC and IT students. It's easier for them, but when it comes to placements for EEE, it doesn't have really good placements.
Infrastructure: This college has very basic infrastructure. It has buildings in two rows, that's it. We don't have anything to see at all. The college is really small compared to other colleges in Hyderabad, and the hostel opened recently, about 2 years ago. As far as I know, the food and basic facilities are average.
Faculty: Every teacher knows the basics of what they are teaching, but nothing extraordinary. This college doesn't make any students industry-ready. Some semester exams are difficult, and some are not. The pass percentage is like 60% of the class passes, and the remaining 40% don't.
Other: The college can improve the events, fests, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. This college really lacks in those extracurricular activities.

I am satisfied because of good friends.
Placements: They try to place 100% of students to get placement, but it's up to the students to perform well in the interview. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA, with an average package of 7 LPA. The recruiting companies are Wipro, Crompton, and Bajaj Electrical Ltd. Around 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good; our college surroundings are hygienic and pleasant. Our college has a campus hostel that is fully secured for the students with security guards as well as CCTV. We have labs to do experiments or programs practically. We also have pleasant classrooms and a library to study in.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and qualified. The curriculum is perfect for industry readiness. The semester exams were both strict and difficult. The pass percentage is 72%. The college conducts exams one by one, like midway through the semester, and most of the students pass regularly.

Good college and best placements.
Placements: MVSr College of Engineering provides various types of placements for students studying in different branches. For Electrical Engineering, the college offers placements in many core and non-core jobs, including software and electrical engineering roles. Various recruiting companies like TCS, BHEL, etc., visit. About 52-60% of students from each batch get placed from the Electrical branch, with a basic package of around 5-6 LPA and a maximum of 12-15 LPA. The roles offered to students from an electrical background depend on the types of recruiting companies and commonly include Electrical Engineer, Assistant Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is very spacious with greenery here and there, providing a great environment for study. It is also well-equipped with modern infrastructure and equipment in the labs. For Electrical Engineering, various labs are available, such as Power Electronics Lab, Control Systems Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Measurements Lab, Instruments Lab, Power Systems Lab, Machines Lab, etc., all equipped with modern equipment. The hostels are also spacious and provide a good learning experience for students with the best administration.
Faculty: The exams are conducted every semester based on the 4-year engineering course, which is divided into 8 semesters. For each semester, we need to take two mid-term exams and an end-semester exam. The semester exams are highly challenging for students, and they can only clear them if they know what's going on in class. The exams are well-designed as per the curriculum, and they can be easily cracked by referring to the books provided by the curriculum. The faculty also help a lot in both practical and theoretical classes.

A decent college for be at.
Placements: Have good placements for electrical electronics engineering. Students get filtered in college so when the companies come for placement very less backouts can be seen. The packages offered to us range from around 3.5 to 5 LPA. It was quite a good experience to attend the interviews .
Infrastructure: It was good experience studying here in terms of facilities. We had good computers and lab equipment with paid access to software tools. The library and computer lab were kept open late into evening always. Our campus is clean and neat with full of greenary.
Faculty: I am doing my BE in electrical electronics engineering which is relatively old course. We have on site facilities and some who from various places for live sessions as well. Teaching quality is also good. Faculty are very friendly with students.

I am satisfied with infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: We have a dedicated placement cell. A few students got placed in our college. We have to pay Rs. 16,000 for placement training. Placements are average in our branch.
Infrastructure: The campus is spared over 20 acres of land. Our college is surrounded by greenery. The academic block is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel facility is available in our college. It provides well-maintained and hygienic food. Our college has a huge playground and a basketball ground.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-educated and highly qualified. They are very helpful to students. The course curriculum is very relevant. This helps students to become industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to pass. The pass percentage is around 60%.
Other: I would recommend joining this college.

Overall it is a pretty decent college .
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed from my course. The highest package was around 4.5 Lacs per annum and the least was 2.8 Lacs per annum. Wipro, congnizant and infosyswere the top recruiters. No one had got internship opportunities. There aren't any good opportunities in the core sector.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students provided in the college. But the classrooms and the library were decent enough. Girl students are not provided with any college hostel but one of the faculty members run a private hostel which is located nearby. The food provided in the hostel was just okay. And the canteen donot provide any non vegetarian items as it is a brahmin college. First aid kits are available in all the labs. Sports and games were also not upto the mark. There is one basketball court. The food provided in the canteen is just okay.
Faculty: The teachers were quite almost all of them are professionals in their subject. When I was in the college we used get papers from osmania university. The exam papers used to be tough sometimes. Overall the semesters used to be manageable and there was about more than 90% pass percentage.
Other: I was an enthusiast in Physics subject which encouraged me to take electrical engineering as my course. The course offered in my college was pretty decent. More internships and industrial visits would improve my course. There used be one or the other fest or event going on in my college every other day. Campus was also pretty decent. As it is located in the outskirts there used to zero to no disturbance from the surroundings which is an advantage.

My engineering experience.
Placements: About 60% of our colle students were placed in MNC's and startups. The highest package was 14 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA avera packa is 4lpa. Top recr companies are mainly TCS, Cognizant, infosys, Mindtree, Accenture. Most of the compa provide internship in 4-2 itself like cognizant and mindtree. Roles offered are software engineer, developer, system engineer.
Infrastructure: MVSR has a very good library with lot of great books for every department. Labs are highly sophisticated and we have a free Wi-Fi in our campus. Classrooms are decent. Canteen is good our college don't have any girls hostel they only have hostel for boys.
Faculty: Yes most of the teachers here are highly professional and Ph.D. holders so they give us good idea about the subject. But some are not up to the mark they are not that good in teaching. Ours is affiliated to Osmania University we follow OU Curriculum. Exams were not that difficult if you have enough preparation before exams.
Other: I have taken EEE. It is not that easy to complete this course with good CGPA. Our course is much about practical knowledge. Some of the Staff would have been more better. Events and technical fiesta are conducted once in a while based on occasions.
