Is a Diploma course in fashion design as good as a degree? And does NIFT-Hyderabad offer Diploma course in fashion designing?

In Diploma course you will learn the basics of fashion designing and in degree course you'll learn a to z of fashion designing and I don't think NIFT has diploma course.
