Our campus is very beautiful.

Placements: NIFT does not offer good placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Internships are also offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Only the AD laboratory is not good but others are good. We have a very good FD laboratory. Hostels are better. The food served in the mess is average. The canteen is also good. Our campus is huge compared to all other campuses. We have a basketball court, a badminton court, and a small football ground.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They are always ready to help us with our doubts. They also help us with internships. The jury is not strict but assignments are never-ending.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

I am not satisfied with the mess food of our college.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is not good on campus. In some places, Wi-Fi works, at some places, it doesn't work. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is good. Hostels are not in a good condition. Only one refrigerator is available for the entire hostel on the ground floor. We have washing machines and a microwave. Mess food is not good. Every time, there is a crowd during lunchtime. The canteen food is quite fine.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. They always encourage students. The curriculum is well-planned and executed. You can give time to explore many things yourself. We don't have semester exams, instead, there are juries who prepare you for the industry. In the 1st year, we had four batches. The course is the same for all 1st-year students. It includes the fundamentals for our upcoming semesters. In 2nd year, you get into your department, study, and explore all about that field of your interest.

I am satisfied with the faculty and good placement opportunities provided by the college.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in well-recognised companies, but now, as the number of NIFT campuses are increasing in the country, placements are decreased. The number of courses has gradually increased, so this has led to more competitive students, which is good.

Infrastructure: We are provided with a Wi-Fi connection in the college as well as the hostel. There is an AD lab with all the equipment required for us. There is also a library with all types of books that we require for our course.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly from NIFT. They have a good knowledge of the subject. The best part is it does not have exams which are justified since our course is mostly practical. We instead have a jury where we present all the work that we did through the semester, and they mark us on that. I would say that failing is more difficult than passing because most of the students easily pass the jury if they have an attendance of a minimum of 75%. Attendance is a huge issue here.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is a flexible course. The course curriculum is not too rigid. This makes us capable of exploring other fields as well. The work pressure is not too much, so we can also focus on the extracurricular aspects of our college life. Our college conducts all types of extracurricular activities like sports, etc.

NIFT Jodhpur has amazing mentors and great courses.

Placements: Every student is assigned with a mentor to help him/her out for approaching industries and providing them internships and placements. Jodhpur campus doesn't have campus placements. They happen only in four or five campuses of NIFT like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. But students of all NIFTs are invited to take part in the college placements.

Infrastructure: AC hostels are available for girls. Boys hostels don't have AC, and they only have coolers. From this year, they are even going to provide boys hostel only till the second year. There are great FC, AD, FD and TD labs, well-equipped with machines and tools. Wi-Fi is available in college and hostels. A great library is available with amazing online and offline learning resources.

Faculty: We have a jury system of examination which is great. The faculty members are amazing and experienced. They come from premium design colleges of India like NID and NIFT. A lot of guest faculty members visit us from different colleges for expert lectures. The college is adapted well with online learning platforms too in this Covid scenario.

Other: Accessory design is an amazing course. It offers you a choice to specialize in one of the three specializations- jewelry, furniture or fashion accessory design (bags or footwear).

NIFT Jodhpur provides excellent faculty members and industry exposure.

Placements: Mentors have the responsibility of helping the students get a placement and guide them through it. The previous year's batch was the first pass-out batch of NIFT Jodhpur B.DES. The highest placement was around Rs. 50,000 per month. Students had completed their graduation projects at places like Aditya Birla, Bangalore, Hitech, Titan, etc.

Infrastructure: The college offers an AD lab which offers students knowledge about basic machines like Lathe machines and jigsaw machines, etc. Classrooms are air-conditioned. We have a canteen, mess, and an Amul Dairy on the campus. There are also music rooms, dance rooms, basketball court, and volleyball court.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well experienced with great industry knowledge. Our teachers have worked at Amrapali Jewellers, Reebok, etc. The course gives you a vast knowledge about material, design thinking, relevant software and also industry. Even we get time to time lectures and visit from industry experts. We also have guest faculty members from other centers of NIFT.

Other: We have an annual college fest called Spectrum. There is an annual NIFT competition called Converge which is a great opportunity to interact with different centers of NIFT. Scholarships are offered to students with low-income backgrounds under the Sarthak scheme.
