NEF Law Entrance Test (NLET) News & Notifications

NLET is conducted for a total of 200 marks.

Practise completing sectional and full-length tests within the prescribed duration. Attempt easier questions first, avoid spending excessive time on difficult questions, and reserve time for review.

Maintain concise notes on important events and revise them regularly. Give special attention to legal developments, constitutional issues, national affairs, international events, awards, appointments, and government initiatives.

Mock tests help candidates understand the examination pattern, improve time management, identify weak areas, and develop confidence. Regular analysis of mock-test performance is equally important for improvement.

Study basic legal concepts and principles, then practice principle-fact questions regularly. Focus on understanding how legal rules apply to given situations rather than memorising laws.

Candidates can begin NLET preparation three to six months before examination.

General Knowledge covers history, geography, economics, politics, science, important institutions, culture, national developments, and other fundamental facts relevant to law entrance preparation.

NEF Law Entrance Exam dates can be checked online at official website. Also, NLET exam date will be mentioned on admit card.

No, candidates will not be issued NLET admit card, if they have not fill out application form.
