NLSAT 2026 Application Dates

The NLSAT 2026 Application process has been extended. Candidates can fill out the NLSAT application form online on or before March 30, 2026. During the NLSAT 2026 application process, candidates must keep ready a scanned copy of a clear passport-size photo and signature in the right format. Candidates will also have to upload the category certificate, proof of residence, and date of birth proof, like a class 10th certificate. The NLSAT registration process is mandatory to appear for the entrance exam.

NLSAT 2026 Exam Date

The NLSAT 2026 exam will be held on April 26, 2026. NLSAT Exam dates are released with the official notification. The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru conducts the NLSAT for admissions into the 3-year LLB course, Master’s in Public Policy, PhD (Law), and PhD (Interdisciplinary) courses.

Candidates have to follow the given schedule on the NLSAT 2026 exam day. On the day of examination, NLSAT 2026 will be organised as follows:

NLSAT 2026 Admit Card Date

The NLSAT Admit Card date has not been released by the exam authorities. The NLSAT 2026 admit card is expected to be released for all the registered candidates around a week before the exam day. To get the NLSAT 2026 hall ticket, the login details will be required to download it. Candidates must sign in on the official website to download it. The NLSAT admit card 2026  will carry details such as exam date, time, and test center info. Make sure all details on the NLSAT hall ticket are correct before the exam. If any mistake is found, contact the exam authorities to get it rectified as soon as possible. Candidates are also advised to keep the admit card safe till the NLSAT admission process is over

NLSAT 2026 Answer Key Date

The NLSAT Answer Key 2026 will be released by NLSIU Bangalore on the official website, nls.ac.in. The NLSAT answer key release date has not been announced yet. Initially, a provisional answer key will be released, followed by the final answer key. Candidates will be invited to raise objections against the official answer key within a stipulated timeline. The NLSAT final answer key will be issued after evaluating the objections received from the test-takers.

NLSAT 2026 Result Date

NLSAT Result date 2026 has not been released yet. To download the NLSAT result, candidates will have to provide their login details, as the result will only be provided through the official login portal. NLSIU Bangalore is expected to announce the NLSAT result within a month of the exam date. NLSAT scorecards will be issued to the aspirants. The conducting body will also prepare a NLSAT 2026 merit list to invite candidates for counselling.

Q:   In which language can I give NLSAT exam?

The NLSAT Exam will be held in English. All questions and instructions will be in same language so you are expected to know the language effectively to answer the questions.

Q:   What is the total score in NLSAT?

The NLSAT Exam is for 150 marks. It is divided into two parts. First exam will be conducted for 80 makrs and then for 70 marks.

Q:   Is 'Legal Aptitude' section removed from the NLSAT question paper?

As per the NLSAT exam pattern released by the NLSIU, Legal Reasoning remains a part of the question paper along with Quantitative Techniques, English Current Affairs including General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning. If the exam authority decides to remove any of the sections, then it will inform the candidates in admission notification itself, so that candidates can prepare for the exam accordingly.

Candidates were advised to prepare for NLSAT 2026 by following the simple steps given below:

  • Make a monthly and weekly timetable and keep the syllabus handy
  • Do not leave any topic, make sure you cover all the topics. Do try and finish on time so you have enough time for revision
  • Pratice as many as mock tests possible. Practice the tests frequently and analyze it to recognize your weak and strong areas. This will help you to know which topic requires work.
  • While attempting the question, try not make any assumption. Even on NLSAT 2026 Exam day, do not assume, as for every in
  • Do not make assumptions while attempting the questions in actual NLSAT as for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
