It is very important to understand the pattern before beginning your preparation. The NLET schedule has not been announced yet. To appear in NEF Law Entrance Exam it is important to have good preparation.
As per the exam pattern it will be conducted in pen paper mode. It will be for 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam is in english language only. It will carry both Objective as well as the subjective type of questions.

NLET 2026 Marking Scheme
- Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer of Question number 1 to 180.
- Whereas, question number 181 and 182 carry 10 marks each.
- There is no negative marking scheme for wrong attempts in case of objective-type of questions. Moreover, no marks will be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted by the candidates.
- The negative marking scheme for long answers type question is not clear.
- Therefore, only correct answers will be taken into consideration for final score calculation.
