Admission to BE is based on KCET score. The college also provides admission through Management Quota for BE course based on merit. The college offers five-degree courses at UG, PG and PhD levels in various specialisations in Management, Engineering and Computer Applications streams. NHCE is the research centre of VTU for PhD and MSc by Research. Candidates must qualify Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection to  courses is based on merit or entrance exam.
