Placements are a scam, the rest is fine teaching and all is good.
Placements: 50 percent of students are placed. The highest package is given by Japanese companies up to 40 LPA, the lowest package offered is 2 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. Japanese companies give a higher package. Some companies offered internship + full time but some companies are scam they recruit you and later say the offer is withdrawn.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library. Free Wi-Fi, digital library, hostel food is good and we get 3 different food options to choose from in the morning. Sports and game opportunities are also available, such as table tennis, kho and badminton, which are mainly played in college.
Faculty: It really depends on each lecturer. If you prepare from the previous years question paper and model question you can easily pass the exams. Major and mini projects we have to work on our own and teachers wont teach you to build it but can take guidance while building. We mostly use ChatGPT for help .
Other: Events are relatively few in our college. I chose it because I have no other option but college is a little strict. CSE faculty members are good.

Specifically, for engineering programs, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) plays a pivotal role in assessing the candidates' aptitude and knowledge in the field. Additionally, for courses related to architecture, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a key determinant in the admission process, emphasizing the importance of subject-specific assessments.

On the other hand, postgraduate admissions offer a diverse range of programs including M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, MCA, and MCA (Lateral). This variety reflects the institute's commitment to providing advanced education across multiple disciplines. The Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch) programs cater to individuals seeking specialisation in engineering and architecture, respectively.

As its KCET rank is 44,000, getting admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch of University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davanagere, could be out of reach. The closing ranks for CSE at UBDTCE used to be considerably lower in earlier years.
