NIELIT, Calicut has a fully computerized library with excellent collection of around 10,000 books, journals and other documents dealing with latest topics in various fields of engineering, computer science, and management. Library and Information Centre has also subscription of e-journals such as IEEE, SCIENCE DIRECT, SPRINGER, ASTM and it also manages a video library which holds 2000+ video lectures from NPTEL.
- Hostel
NIELIT Calicut has three hostels each for men and women. Out of the three hostels for men, two are three seated and one is two seated where hostels for women have three seated rooms. Guest room facility is also available.

According to the prospectus, MCA (Master of Computer Applications) at NIELIT is a 3 year course (i.e. six semesters) leading to a MCA degree. Minimum working days in each semester would be 90 days or as per Mizoram University/AICTE norms. Maximum duration is 5 years.

Candidate can take ECC at NIELIT Shillong if they meets the eligibility criteria of the academic merits and have passed 12th from any recognised board of secondary education. However, NIELIT Shillong accepts admission of 25 students per batch in ECC and other programmes.
