NIELIT Ranchi offers Digital Literacy, short-term, long-term, and other courses to students. The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology is ISO certified. In general, NIELIT (earlier known as DOEACC Society) has 47 centers located in different parts of India. One of the centres is in Ranchi which is functional from its temporary campus. NIELIT Ranchi had been entrusted by the Board of Revenue, Government of Jharkhand to conduct several departmental exams for some of its cadres such as Secretariat Assistant, Stenographers, and Personal Assistant of the Government of Jharkhand. NIELIT Ranchi is conducting several activities that are mentioned below:

NIELIT Ranchi offers the Protsahan Puraskar Scheme to SC/ ST/ physically handicapped and female students taking admission in DOEACC level courses.
