Management is tough and strict. No hostel facility.

Placements: Here placement drives and placement fair are organized. But core companies visiting are less in number. More IT Companies and consultant companies visit for placements. 25-50% students are placed. Roles offered are that of engineers and architects. TCS, travel and tourism companies, etc. hire the students. Internships can be done in the last year.

Infrastructure: WiFi is available. All core labs are there and have most of the apparatus and instruments. Some of the labs here are a material testing lab, geotechnical lab, FM lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, environment engineering lab, computer lab, CAD lab, digital lab, and mechanical workshop. The library is also provided with necessary academic books. There is a well-maintained ground with a football court, volleyball court, badminton court, and cricket court. There is a canteen which provides healthy food. There is no hostel for both girls and boys. The campus is oaky.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and use good teaching techniques. The teaching methods adopted here are seminar presentations, projector classes. Notes are properly given as per the syllabus. Timely internal exams and assignments are given. Every year there is an industrial visit. Educational tours are organized only in the final year. There are enough faculty members. The way of helping and teaching is very good.

Other: Every year there is an arts and sports event by dividing the whole college into 4 groups. College day is celebrated every year. There is an anti-drug club, social club, radio club, NSS clubs etc. There are no political groups. Well-disciplined campus with strict actions for mishappenings. College buses are provided from Kunnamkulam, Mannuthy, Amballur, Tripayar, Angamaly, Kondugallor, Thrissur, and Irinjalakuda.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics as compulsory subject and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as one of the optional subjects with above mentioned marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission.(40% marks for SEBC)
