Good college, good faculty, and management, but choose courses as per previous placement records.

Placements: During our time, only IT companies were coming to recruit. Not even a single company from the civil engineering field came for recruitment. Almost the ones who got placed are in banking and finance. But their package was good. Internship options were not available. We had to search for our own. Also, career guidance was not there. So, it would have been better if someone suggested what and how to choose after graduation.

Infrastructure: The lab was good. There was a good library. College hostels were not available, but we had private hostels available. Classrooms and other facilities were good. The canteen was good and affordable. Sports and games used to be conducted but were not given much importance.

Faculty: The faculty was very good. They were always there for any help in studies. They were very friendly and always did their best. They used to teach as per curriculum requirements. Since university exams used to be tough during our time, the pass percentage was low in our batch, but for the next batches, they had a good pass percentage.

Other: Events were not conducted properly during our college time. But nowadays, they are conducting every event in a grand way.

Our college is like a hell and don't opt for this college because they value money than studies

Placements: Some of our students got placement, only a few. Only a few companies are interested in conducting placement drives in our college, don't know why. Maybe it's because our college management doesn't provide them with suitable needs. Our college management doesn't support placement drives as they are very much busy in collecting fine from the students.

Infrastructure: No such facilities offered as mentioned in their ads, no free Wi-Fi, no hostel facility, etc. Our college building itself is a very poor building. The beams and colours are not strong enough to support loads. The floor tiles too are of a very low quality and the floor tiles often break.

Faculty: Faculties are newly appointed so lack of experience and they do consider traditional xerox culture. Our college management used to go for freshers as they will be easily available and their monthly salary will be low and so they can save as much money

Other: To the students who are opting to take btech in oru college please make sure that you have as much money in you bank account, our management is fond of students who are from rich family setup as they can make money by giving punishments for simple things and make money from these punishments as fines

My years of engineering life.

Placements: Here, the placement drives and placement fairs are done. Core companies approaching is very good. IT companies and consultant companies visits are more. 25-50% of the students are placed. The companies coming here are Fine Engineers and Architects, TCS, other IT companies, and travel and tourism companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available. All core labs are there with most of the apparatus and instruments. The labs here are the material testing lab, geotechnical lab, FM lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, environment engineering lab, computer lab, cad lab, digital lab, mechanical workshop. A library is also provided with the necessary academic books. Well-maintained ground with a football court, volleyball court, badminton court, cricket court are also present. The canteen is available with healthy food. There is no hostel for both girls and boys. The campus is medium.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained with high teaching techniques. Teaching methods adopted here are seminar presentations, projector classes. Notes are properly given as per the syllabus. Timely internal exams, assignments are given. Every year, there is an educational tour only in the final year. The faculty are adequate in numbers. Internships can be done in the last year. Here, the way of helping and teaching is very good.

Other: Every year, there is an arts and sports event conducted by dividing the whole college into 4 groups. The college day is celebrated every year. There is an anti-drug club, social club, radio club, NSS clubs working here. No political group plays an influence here. It is a well-disciplined campus with strict actions for mishappenings. The college buses are there from Kunnamkulam, Mannuthy, Amballur, Tripayar, Angamaly, Kondugallor, Thrissur, and Irinjalakuda.

Management is tough and strict. No hostel facility.
