Candidates interested for NIT Goa are required to visit the official website of the institution and register themselves following with some basic personal and academic details. After the said registration is done, the candidates are then required to submit application forms for the desired course along with entrance exam scores if required. The final step of the application process is to upload scanned documents and marksheets that are required, along with payment of application fees. No, candidates need to qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering  (GATE) exam to get admission to the M.Tech programme offered by NIT Goa. Students applying without a valid GATE score is not eligible for the National Institute of Technology Goa M.Tech admission. GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other institutes/universities across India. 

For the National Institute of Technology Goa BTech admission, candidates are required to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject with a minimum aggregate of 75%. Apart from the minimum eligibility criteria, NIT Goa also considers the JEE Main score to admit students to its BTech course. 

NIT Goa offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. NIT Goa BTech admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. The JoSAA counselling begins in September. There will be 6 rounds of seat allotment.
