Getting admission in NIT Manipur requires candidates to qualify specified entrance exams. Candidates wishing to get admission in BTech need to pass JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. The select left vacant after completion of the JoSAA Counselling are filled by CSAB Counselling.
For other courses such as M.Tech and MSc, selection is based on GATE and IIT JAM score, respectively. The cutoff for BTech, M.Tech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. Whereas, for PhD admission, the institute releases merit lists based on the entrance exam score.

No, NIT Manipur offers admission to UG and PG courses based on entrance exam scores. Aspirants seeking admission in BTech must have a valid JEE Main score.
