No, the NIT Surathkal does not offer admission to the M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course without meeting the 60% eligibility requirement in PCM. According to the information bulletin, admission to a M.Tech. Programme shall be open to Indian nationals who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, or not less than 60% marks in the aggregate. However, this prescribed minimum shall be a CGPA of 6.0 or 55% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
