A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Review of NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology .
Placements: Almost 100 percent of students get placed in Information Technology this year. The highest package is 57 LPA, the average is 27 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Texas Instruments, Amazon, Sprinkler, Adobe, Visa, Citi India, Wells Fargo, etc. 80 percent of students get internships every year in these companies only. Top roles are software developer and analyst.
Infrastructure: In the first year, students get triple sharing rooms with separate B.Ed, and from the second year, students opt for single rooms or double sharing. The entire campus is covered by Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped with the latest generation computers with high processors. There are two libraries in the campus. One is the central library, and the other is the e-library. Mess food is hygienic and edible. Night canteens are available on the campus. All sports facilities are available on the campus; there are two grounds, one swimming pool, and basketball court. Lawn tennis court is also there on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers or professors are helpful, and they are qualified from the top universities of India, mostly from IITs and NITs. Teaching quality is good and lab-based. Theory and lab classes are well balanced. Yes, this course is highly relevant to software technology and prepares students for the software industry. It is not too difficult to pass the semester exam if you are attending the classes regularly. Passing percentage ranges between 20 to 30 percent of total weightage marks.
Other: I chose this college and course due to its reputation and placement records. It is a technology-based course and mostly lab-based. Some first-year courses are totally irrelevant to the course that must be improved. Incident and Engineer are the two major fests of the college. The campus is not too crowded and connected to all modes of transport, and scholarships and fest waivers are also available based on the economic condition of the students.

Do you think your JEE Preparations are worth National Institute of Technology, Suratkal (Karnataka)?
Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed in NitK from Mechanical Engineering. The highest package is 10LPA without the Minor. On taking minor courses the average package will increase. The average package is around 7LPA and the lowest is 5LPA. One of the top recruiting company is Tata Mahindra. Many students get internship opportunities and avail Pre Placement Offers before reaching the final year. The minimum requirement for sitting in campus placement interviews is 7 CGPA.
Infrastructure: Before answering this question, let me tell you that I have visited NIT Calicut and my answers will be based on their comparison. The infrastructure and buildings like CIDS and CRF are top modern buildings in NitK. We have a Central Library and a Digital Library. The construction for a new Library is going on and we can soon expect them. The hostels are average. The mess food is okayish. Every hostel has appointed GMC and MC for representing the hostelite and their mess food. So, make sure you voted for them wisely. We have 3-4 Gyms with the latest equipments. Many Sports tournaments are conducted through out the year, both inside and outside the campus. We have a Health Care Centre opposite the main ground. We get prescriptions from there and we also have a pharmacy inside the Health Care Centre.
Faculty: Even though the Teachers are highly qualified, we have to rely mainly on self study. The course curriculum is advanced and makes the students knowledgeable. There are many Clubs which will help you gain world life experiences. There are clubs for everyone taste and passion.
Other: There are many club activities where you can come out of your comfort zones and try something new. There are mainly two massive events which happen all year round. A technical fest which is called Engineer and a Cultural fest called Incident. Every year, for many club activities, the alumni visit the college. You get to connect with people from a wide variety of cultures, backgrounds and mindset.

Review of Artificial Intelligence course in NITK .
Placements: Artificial Intelligence is the new branch introduced in NITK under the guidance of Technology. The first batch of AI, almost 99 percent of students this year got placed in different companies. The highest package is 55 LPA and the average is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Jio, Sprinkler, DE-Shaw, Wall Smart, and many more companies. Almost 70 percent of students got internships this year in the top companies like Google, Amazon, Sprinkler, Microsoft. Top roles are software developer, web developer, and analyst.
Infrastructure: In the first year, students are allotted triple sharing rooms along with separate beds and tables and charts and one fan in the room. In the department and also in the entire campus, Wi-Fi is available. Labs are well-equipped with the latest technology and computers. We have two libraries, one is the central library and the other is the e-library. Mess food is quite good and acceptable and hygienic. Night canteens and food court are available on the campus, and there are two sports grounds and an indoor sports complex as well.
Faculty: Yes teachers are helpful and most of them are highly educated and alumni of top IITS and NITS. Teaching quality is good and mostly labs or practical based. This course is highly relevant to artificial Intelligence and software technology and makes students ready for that. I t is not too difficult to pass the semester exam if you are only regular to the class and if you study one or two hour daily you can score well. Passing percentage varies between 20 to 30 percent based on class performance or paper difficult level.
Other: I chose this course because of the modern demands of artificial intelligence and also considered the placement percentage of the course. It is truly based on modern technology. This course is new, but they are teaching some irrelevant courses in the first year that should be improved only. Incident and Engineer are the two major fests of the college. The campus is not too crowded and connected to all modes of transport. Various types of scholarships and fee waivers are there based on economic conditions.

College life at NIT surathkal.
Placements: Around 95%+ students get placed in our college. The highest package this year from my branch was about 50 LPA and in core electrical, the average salary was about 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Nvidia, Tata, TCS, jio and many more. Almost all students got internships if they applied and those who didn't apply decreased the percentage of internships. Some of the students also got a PPO (pre-placement offer ) from the internship company. Control engineer, software, hardware, etc. are some of the major roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here and most of the buildings are new, especially for Masters students. Lots of facilities are provided here by the college, like Wi-Fi, LAN, and a library, which are also very good. There are two libraries here: one is central and the other is an e-library. In the hostel, the food is decent—not too bad, not too good. The sports facilities are good here, especially for indoor sports but for outdoor sports like cricket, they are not good.
Faculty: The faculty is good, mostly except for some of the professors. Faculty are very hilly; they don't want attendance to be 75% mandatory; they just want to learn things. Semester exams are good but as EEE (electrical and electronics) is the most difficult branch, there are lots of labs and stuff.
Other: I chose this course because, as we know here, admission is JEE Main rank-based so according to my rank, I am eligible for this course and I am also interested in electrical engineering. If we focus more on labs than the theory part, this will improve our skills There are many festivals, a big opportunity for the scholars and many other sports activities.
