NMIMS Mumbai MBA is a full-time programme offered at postgraduate level. It is offered for a duration for two years by the School of Business Management.
- The university provides a General MBA along with four specialisations. The available specialisations are HR, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation and Pharmaceutical Management.

The registration fee for NMAT test is charged by GMAC. This amounts to INR 3000 per attempt. After the candidate has registered for NMAT test, he/she needs to register at NMIMS and fill up the registration form online. The NMIMS MBA registration fee is INR 2900.

NMIMS Navi Mumbai MBA admission process is almost a year long process. It takes place in two stages. In the first stage, the candidates have to register for the NMAT exam and NMIMS admission. Second stage starts after the announcement of the NMAT results. In this stage, shortlisting of candidates by NMIMS takes place and they are called for further assessment. Aspirants can follow the guide for NMIMS Navi Mumbai admission process as explained below:
STEP 1: NMAT by GMAC Registration
Candidates have to go to the official NMAT website at www.nmat.org to register and submit details to get a GMAC ID. They have to pay a fee to complete registration process.
STEP 2: NMIMS Registration
- Candidates have to visit www.nmims.edu
- Enter NMAT by GMAC™ registration number to complete the application process.
- Each candidate has to give minimum 5 programme preference in the NMIMS Registration form.
- Final programme preference is taken after shortlisting for further admission process.
STEP 3: Entrance Exam
NMAT is a national-level entrance test conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Students get three attempts to appear for the exam. The attempt with the highest score is considered for the admission process. This test evaluates students based on their performance in following sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
STEP 4: Selection Process
Based upon NMAT score, NMIMS shortlists candidates for Common Admission Process rounds. CAPI round includes a computer based Competency Assessment Test and Personal Interview. Final merit list is prepared based on performance of the candidates in the following:

The NMAT score is given a weightage of 10% in the preparation of the merit list. The competency assessment test is given the highest weightage at 60%.
