Yes, you can apply for admission to NMIMS Indore in the final year of your Bachelor's Degree. But your admission is provisional subject to clearing the final examination of the undergraduate programme with at least 50% aggregate marks.
After paying the programme admission fee at NMIMS, the candidates can apply online for hostel facility on the NMIMS hostel application portal. When the hostel application gets approved, the candidate has to pay the hostel fees online. The hostel accommodation is allotted on a first-come first-served basis. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for students at NMIMS Indore campus except for those students who are residents of Indore.
Only NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) results are accepted by NMIMS Indore for admission to its MBA programme. It does not take into account the results of any other entrance exams, such as the CAT, GMAT, or XAT. One of the most significant considerations in the NMIMS Indore MBA program's selection process is your NMAT score. You need to receive at least 210–220 on the NMIMS.
Verbal Communication, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning are the three portions of the computer-adaptive NMAT test. On the GMAC website, you can register for the NMAT online. Candidates who have been shortlisted for a personal interview based on their NMAT results will be evaluated for overall programme fit, critical thinking abilities, and communication skills.

NMIMS Indore MBA/PGDMNMIMS Indore MBA Fees 2026
NMIMS Indore MBA fee 2026 will be intimitated at the time of admission offer. NMIMS Indore fee for MBA for 2025 session was INR 9.5 lakh per annum. Thus, the total tuition fee that was charged was INR 19 lakh for two years. The fee can be paid online via the NMIMS fee portal.

The NMAT test registration fee is charged by GMAC. This amounts to INR 3000 per attempt. After the candidate has registered for NMAT test, he/she needs to register at NMIMS and fill up the online registration form for admission in MBA. The NMIMS MBA registration fee is INR 2900.
The students who have paid the MBA fees to NMIMS for the first academic year can withdraw the admission. They can fill the withdrawal application form on the official website of the college. If they are found to be eligible for the refund in accordance with the refund policy of the college, they will receive the refund of the fees. They will get the refund within 15 days of submission of the completed form.
The MBA candidates who have paid the fees for the new academic year can withdraw the admission and become eligible for refund as per the NMIMS refund policy. Such candidates have to fill the withdrawal application form on the official website of the college.
If any candidate requests for withdrawal of admission before the beginning of the new session, the admission department will process the document with the necessary approvals.
Whereas in the case of any requests made after the start of the session, the candidate will have to get the Clearance /No dues from all the concerned departments of the School. If there are any refund of fees, it will be credited to the bank account provided by the applicant in the application.

Typically, the admission cycle for MBA at NMIMS Indore begins with the NMAT registration in August-October. The NMIMS online application also opens around August- October simultaneously. The NMAT examination takes place in November-December. After shortlisting of candidates, the Competency Assessment Test and Personal Interview rounds are conducted in January- February. The merit list is declared between February-April. After the submission of fee, the new academic session at NMIMS begins in June.
NMIMS does not accept scores of the CAT exam for admission in its MBA courses. Even if you have a good percentile in CAT, you have to qualify the eligibility criteria for NMIMS MBA as well as take the NMAT exam. NMAT exam is a national level exam conducted by GMAC as an entrance exam for admission in MBA programs.
NMAT exam is designed with 108 questions to be answered within 120 minutes. Candidates can appear for NMAT in computer based test mode. 108 questions of NMAT exam is divided equally into three sections, namely Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.

Initial Registration-
- Visit the entrance exam official website
- For registration click on “Apply Now” and create an account.
- Candidates can choose the program-wise form and complete the registration.
Select Test Category /School /Program/ Preferences-
- Based on eligibility criteria SELECT the Test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMSCET / NMIMS-LAT) / School or Programme and campus preferences.
- Candidates can select multiple test categories / multiple schools and multiple programme preferences.
- Candidates can select multiple attempts / retake/s for each of the categories.
Pay the Application Fee and Complete the Process-
- The registration fees are based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes.
- Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.
- Candidates should not register multiple times for the same exam category else it will lead to blocking the candidate from admission.
NMIMS Indore MBA Admission Process 2026
NMIMS Indore MBA admission process takes place in two stages. In the first stage, candidates have to register for the NMAT exam and NMIMS admission. Second stage starts after the NMAT results are announced. In this stage, NMIMS shortlists candidates and calls them for further process. The details of the NMIMS admission process are given below:
Stage A: Pre-NMAT result
Step 1: NMAT Registration
Aspirants have to register online at official NMAT website using their details and pay registration fee of INR 3,000 to complete the registration process. NMAT by GMAC registration number is a prerequisite for completing the NMIMS application.
Step 2: NMIMS Registration
Candidates need to go to official NMIMS wesbite and provide NMAT by GMAC registration number. They have to pay registration fees of INR 2,900 which is non-refundable. Every candidate has to give minimum 5 programme preference in the NMIMS registration form. But preference entered after shortlisting for further admission process is considered for merit list.
Step 3: NMAT Test
NMAT is a national-level entrance test conducted by GMAC. Each candidate has to take NMAT by GMAC Test to apply for NMIMS MBA. It is a computer-based test. Total duration of the test is 120 minutes. This test evaluates students on the following:
1. Language Skills
2. Quantitative Skills
3. Logical Reasoning.
Stage B: Post NMAT results
Step 4: Selection Process
Based upon NMAT score, NMIMS shortlists candidates for the Common Admission Process rounds. Selection process includes a computer based Competency Assessment Test and Personal Interview. Final merit list is prepared based on performance in the following:
1. NMAT exam
2. Personal Interview
3. Competency Test
4. Academics
5. Work experience
Final result is announced on the NMIMS dashboard.
Step 6: Admission Confirmation
Students have to get their documents verified and pay required fee to secure NMIMS Indore MBA seat.

At the time of admission to MBA programme in NMIMS Indore, the scanned copies only of the following documents are required ro be submitted: Class 10 Marksheet or Pass Certificate, Class 12 Marksheet or Pass Certificate, Degree Certificate, Degree Marksheet, Migration Certificate, Mediclaim policy and Medical Fitness Certificate (In Original signed and stamped).
Internships, trainings, and apprenticeships are not considered as valid work experience for consideration in MBA admission at NMIMS. The criteria for valid work experience is given as follows:
- Work experience after the completion of graduation.
- Work experience of more than one year.
- Work experience in a company that is listed in both GSTIN and TAN databses.
The NMAT score is given a weightage of 10% in the preparation of the merit list. The competency assessment test is given the highest weightage at 60%. The scores of the Work Experience and Personal Interview are given a weightage of 15% each for the selection of the candidate in the final merit list.
Candidates had to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in order to appear for NMIMS LAT 2026:
- Candidates should pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board in any stream with at least 50 per cent aggregate
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 from International Baccalaureate (IB) board should be either IB certificate/ & DP awarded with minimum 24 total credits having passed 3 HL and 3 SL mandatorily from any stream
- In case, the marksheet issued by the relevant board is in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects in which the candidate has appeared will be taken into consideration
- Candidates who are ungraded/failed in any subject mentioned in the marksheet are not eligible to apply for the exam
- Candidates appearing for the final Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will need to fulfil the above criteria within the given stipulated time.
