NMIMS is private deemed university which accepts students on basis of NMAT (Narsee Monjee Aptitude test) score. There is no such complusion to pass CAT exam to get admission in NMIMS. 

Not every university requires CAT examination for admission in MBA.Every university has its own entrance exam and different admission process with different criteria.

For getting admission in MBA, students are required to score accepted marks in NMAT by GMAC along with personal interview and group discussion. NMIM CET score is required in admission of B.Tech. Admission in BBA and B.sc is done on the marks of NPAT . For the admission in law courses like BBA, LLB, and BA LLB, students need to qualify CLAT or LSAT India exam. Other than the examinations mentioned, the institution also accepts exams like JEE Mains and MHT CTET. JEE is not required but accepted . 

NMIMS CET 2026 application form last date for Phase 2 is May 26. Candidates will have to fill application form before final date. Separate applications will be released for different phases of exam.

The NMIMS CET exam is conducted as an entrance exam for admission in BTech at NMIMS Navi Mumbai. It is an online computer-based test. The candidates have to take the exam at the designated test center. The duration of NMIMS CET is 120 minutes. There are a total of 120 MCQs that the candidates can attempt.

You can apply for more than one programme in the NCET application form. For this, you have to pay a higher registration fee. To apply for one programme, you have to pay INR 2000 NCET registration fee. But to apply for two programmes, you have to pay INR 3000 NCET registration fee.

The NMAT exam is conducted by GMAC. It has mainly 3 components: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. There are a total of 108 questions that the candidate needs to answer in 120 minutes. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Yesm NMIMS Navi Mumbai offers an MBA Tech programme. This programme is a five-year integrated programme. This programme integrates two fields, Management and Technology. In order to get admission, students must appear for the CET programme organised by the NMIMS Navi Mumbai itself.

The admission for BTech courses at NMIMS Navi Mumbai is given on the basis of the candidates' performance in the NMIMS CET entrance exam. It is a university-level undergraduate common entrance test. Candidates who pass the exam will be admitted to one of the NMIMS campuses located at Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Indore, and Chandigarh. However, candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria and selection as per the STME NMIMS admission guidelines.
