Review of NMIMS Deemed to be University - Navi Mumbai Campus.

Placements: Placement recruitment drives are so harder to crack without attending proper training arranged by them. The highest package offered to the students would be 24.6 lacs per annum. The mid-level payment offered to the students would be 8.5 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The campus is located in the middle area of the city which would make it easier for transportation in all modes like buses and railways. There will be separate accommodations for girls and boys students, which would be a little bit expensive, and prior information is required for hostel admission.

Faculty: Faculty members have unique ideas and thought processes for processing their ideologies and strategic plans to make them happen effectively. Textbooks are not needed because faculty members made simpler reference notes and books for all the subjects with the help of experienced professionals and online resources.

Good Infrastructure and Good facilites, Not good for engineering, Faculties are good and helpful

Placements: All internships are offered after the 3rd year so our batch has not got any internships as of now but some students have got internship by their own. Our seniors got placed but all the news regarding the placements are unknown. The placements of the first batch is still going on and I heard about TCS.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but there is poor mobile network in the college and college Wi-Fi is poor you can't use some of the apps like WhatsApp and other websites through the Wi-Fi. I went to the library once and it seemed good. There is no dedicated hostel like other colleges, the management have bought some of the flats in a building near the college and have rented it out to the students at 2.50L for 10 months.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average some are good some are average. The course curriculum is not good. We are always in constant pressure of maintaining 80% attendance, then a lot of projects for almost every subject in every semester and a lot of presentations. This course is designed by TCS and sometimes the college have doubts regarding the course and they are not at all helpful even though they were asked a multiple times. Semester exams are not that tough if you do all the assignments and the things your subject professor tells you to do then you'll surely pass. I think around 70-80 % were able to pass the last sem exams.

Other: I am in 3rd year right now and the thing I wished to improve was that there were less number of assignments and other things as we have to improve our skills and learn some new ones. Events are Fests are conducted a lot. Campus Crowd is average and it takes around 15-20 minds to kharghar railway station. I think they provide scholarships only to the top rankers of their entrance exams. The new academic discipline has made it worse you are not allowed to use the mobile phone etc. During the lectures and there is a long list of such things and it feels like we have gone back to school. So campus life is not good at all. Feels like they have bounded us in a jail.

I want to know about the latest cutoff information for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business System at NMIMS Navi Mumbai.

It all depends on the rank that you get in NPAT(entrance test). Depending upon availability of seats, there is no perfect cutoff for streams. Rank within 1000 should be good to get admission into the stream. However, just to be safe try scoring under 600.
