As there is merit and demerits but the merits overpower the demerits.
Placements: Our course has a 100% placement rate, with an average salary of 3.5-4 LPA. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiters are from both IT and biotech and include Infosys, Accenture, TCS, KPMG, and Capgemini. Internships are mandatory, and students can do them in any field they're interested in, either online or offline. Some popular internship positions include life sciences, research, lab technician, and scientist. In IT, some popular internship positions include software development engineer and IT support.
Infrastructure: The hostel has a departmental library where students can study until 7 p.m. The hostel also has high-speed Wi-Fi, and the rooms are very spacious. The food is not very good but there is a canteen that provides room service until midnight. After college, students can play games on the courts provided in the hostel. The mess is underground.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant because it is designed to meet the needs of industry, and changes are made every year. The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, and they offer two choices of focus within our course of study.
Other: I'm from a biology background, but I have a huge interest in computers and technology, so I chose this course. It provides knowledge about biology and the techniques used in the field. Still, the course lacks a computational component, so an additional subject that includes a coding language is needed. The course also needs to incorporate Indian culture and talent shows to provide students with a well-rounded education.

My college provides all the facilities for every course . Placements in 2023 are really good.
Placements: 90% of the students in my course were placed, and the rest 10% of the students approached for higher studies. The highest package offered in my course was 9 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini are the top recruitment companies in my course. Almost every student got an internship from my course, and the companies they got interned with were Farelabs, Internshala, and Intern Bharat. The top roles offered in my course were medical script writing, and some were in IT as well, having software interns, data analysts, and data scientists.
Infrastructure: Our department has a good network for Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel is very good. They provide quality food, which shows that students can maintain their good health and also have medical facilities. They also provide sports and other cultural activities for students’ entertainment.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in our department. The teaching quality was good. This course curriculum is relevant.Yes, this course boosts students’ readiness for industry. If we regularly attend the classes, then this is not at all difficult to clear the exams. The passing percentage is 33% per subject.
Other: Because I want to explore this field and I have keen interest in research and development in Biotechnology, genetic engineering, and immunology technology. The best thing is that if students are interested in these fields, then they can try in that field as well, and if students are interested in particularly biotechnology, then they can go to pharmaceuticals and many other things related to biology. Well, to be honest, my college already has everything, but striving for the best is always the best option. Our campus does attend events, fests, campus crowd ,connectivity ,campus surrounding , scholarships , extra-curricular activities , etc., so that students don't get bored with only studies and studies; they should always have different types of cultural activities to keep their minds attractive and always in focus.

Good placements, but the curriculum needs more industry alignment.
Placements: Placement Percentage: On average, 60-80% of students in Biotechnology programs get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Nestle and Capgemini. Internships: 70% of students got top roles offered as Biotechnologists.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, and proper instruments are available. Wifi is not available. The library is average, not very good. The mess committee provides good food. The playground is above average but not very good. Playing kits are available for games. The canteen is not as good compared to other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and approachable. Many teachers assist students with research projects, internships, and career guidance, especially in higher semesters. Biotechnology programs cover essential topics like genetic engineering, molecular biology, bioprocess engineering, bioinformatics, microbiology, and immunology. These subjects are crucial for both academic research and various sectors of the biotechnology industry. Exams are usually moderately difficult, depending on the student's understanding of the subject.
Other: I have a passion for biology and technology because it combines biology, chemistry, and technology to solve real-world problems in areas like healthcare, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. Many students feel that the course could include more industry-oriented projects, internships, and practical exposure to make them more job-ready upon graduation. Students can participate in various clubs like science clubs, sports, cultural societies, entrepreneurship cells, and student chapters of professional organizations.

Strong placements, modern infrastructure, and quality education.
Placements: NIET has a good placement record, with many students getting jobs in top companies like TCS, Wipro, and Amazon. The average salary package is around 3-4 LPA, and the college provides good training and internship opportunities to help students prepare for placements.
Infrastructure: The Biotechnology department at NIET has labs with equipment for research and experiments. The classrooms are well-equipped, and the library provides good study resources. Overall, the infrastructure supports practical learning and research in biotechnology.
Faculty: The faculty at NIET's Biotechnology department is experienced and helpful, providing good guidance to students. The curriculum is up-to-date, with a mix of theory and practical knowledge. Exams are conducted regularly and focus on understanding concepts, with both written tests and practical assessments. There are lots of class tests conducted by faculty to help students understand the syllabus.
Other: My interest is in biology, and I want to pursue medicine but am not too prepared for this, so I chose biotechnology for my career and am gaining more interest in core biotechnology and research.

I am satisfied with the college, and their faculty is good.
Placements: 60-70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package was 7 Lacs, and the lowest is 1.5 Lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Nestle, Capgemini, and TCS. Students get internships in companies like Codsoft, Microbiologist, and some as teachers or content writers. Some students also secure placements or internships in IT companies.
Infrastructure: We have a library and good classrooms. We have quite decent food in our mess, and we also have a canteen. Medical facilities are available, and we conduct zonal events on campus where students can showcase their talent. Overall, the college is good in Greater Noida.
Faculty: The teachers of my college are very helpful. They always have concern about students' studies and mental health. Most teachers have Ph.D. degrees. They are good with academics and have practical knowledge and understanding of the subject. They are nice.
Other: I chose biotech due to its placement and the college's reputation. Practical knowledge is the best thing about my course.

Solid placement record.
Placements: On an average basis, 80 to 90 percent of students get placed in my course, i.e., B.Tech in Biotechnology. The highest package can be 15 to 30 LPA, the lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA, and the average is 7 to 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS in life sciences, ONGC, and companies like DRDO and pharmaceutical companies (around 50%) according to their merit basis. Roles include drug analyst, pharmacist, and researcher.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the facilities and infrastructure, it is quite big. Labs are well facilitated with the required equipment for experiments. Wi-Fi is available, but they also set a jammer during important papers. The library is filled with all the required books for every course and others. About the hostel, there are two and three-seater rooms available with ample space, ducting is provided for room cooling, and the mess is clean with a menu that keeps changing every week to cater to different taste buds. A proper pharmacy is available for medical facilities, with doctors present for any emergency situation. Every year, a team is selected for various sports like kho-kho and badminton for zonal, district, and national level competitions.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers or professors are very eligible and qualified. Most of them are from IITs, NITs, and some are from foreign reputed universities. They prepare you from the very start for corporate or industrial life. It can be quite difficult, but they prepare you well for exams so that you can qualify with good marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it has greater opportunities in the coming years, and I have a keen interest in the research sector. The best thing about this course is being in pharmacy because it doesn't face any recession. There’s nothing special, just a desire for more industrial visits. Events are held before any festivals, the campus crowd is good, and seniors are always there along with professors for connectivity. There are many extracurricular activities alongside studies for your betterment, and yes, UP scholarship is available.

NIET: Good placements, enthusiastic faculty and good academic discipline.
Placements: 1. My institute guarantee 100% placements. 2. The top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Capgemini, KPMG, etc. 3. The top roles offered in my course are biotechnologist and engineer. 4. The highest package is 9–10 LPA, the average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2–3 LPA.
Infrastructure: 1. The facilities are pretty decent, with well-maintained infrastructure. The classrooms are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and smart class boards, as well as good and comfy seats. 2. The hostel mess serves good food with cleanliness. The menu is changed every month to beat monotony.
Faculty: 1. Yes, teachers are highly qualified and are always enthusiastic to clear your doubts. 2. The course curriculum is in line with the NEP and also includes industrial improvement. 3. The difficulty of the college exams is moderate; most questions are being asked about what is taught in the class.
Other: 1. I chose the course as the college is ranked No. 1 in Greater Noida and also No. 1 in UP in autonomous college. It designs its own syllabus according to industrial needs. 2. More industrial visits should be incorporated, as our work is more practical than theoretical; it would give us good fieldwork exposure. 3. Not a lot, but yes, festivals do happen at our college. Every year, we have Sanskriti, a cultural festival and Jagmag, a Diwali festival. Our college also has an annual technical and sports meet.

Academically profound, good teachers and good placements in 2023.
Placements: My institute provides 100% guaranteed placement. The highest package offered by Microsoft was 54 LPA, the average placement was 7-8 LPA, and the lowest was 2-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are: Cognizant, Accenture, Oracle, Infosys, etc. 4. 100% of students are placed in various private companies. Biotechnologist engineer is the highest post offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are equipped with smart classrooms and Wi-Fi. We also have an air-conditioned library, which contains all the books necessary for each branch. The hostel accommodates more than 500 girls and boys in three-seater rooms (attached washrooms or common) as per choice. The mess food is nice and freshly prepared as per meal timings. Quick medical facilities are provided by the institute to the nearby hospital. Games and sports are also taken care of. All the sports equipment is present in the sports room, and we also conduct a Sports Fest annually, in which sportsmanship is awarded with various prizes.
Faculty: Teachers in NIET are highly qualified, and most teachers are either PhD's or GATE-qualified. Their main concern is academic excellence. The course curriculum is in line with industrial needs. The difficulty of the exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I chose the course due to my interest in research work and industrial-level applications of biotechnology. Industrial and lab visits should be more often held. It instils the quality of fieldwork in students and is held to get us industry-ready. Not much, but events happen here: Sanskriti, a cultural fest, is held every year. We have Jagamag, a Diwali fest and various teaching and sports festivals are held. We have various student-led societies like music clubs, dance clubs, etc.
