Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) - Batch of 2030

Absolutely satisfied overall.
Placements: Pharma.D course is the best for someone in search of their career in pharmacovigilance, research, and clinical pharmacology. It opens doors to the hospital as well as pharmaceutical industries. Pharma.D course will also help you work on your research projects and study both human body and medicine.
Infrastructure: Hostel provides a safe and secure environment with the best quality food and living. Guards are available 24 hour at our services. It has 24 hour ambulance, and hospital is also available nearby. Our campus is supportive and calm at every point with great living for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Exams are easy. Faculty members are supportive both academically and in terms of mental health. The faculty here will support you with whatever needs you have. The curriculum activities are also going on every now and then in the institution, helping the students not only excel academically but also build confidence and enjoy life.
Other: The best thing about this course is that you will get to interact with people around and help understand the human being in a better way. The hospital visits will give you a lot of experience with patient dealings. The events, fests, and campus surroundings are all heart-warming and help one to stay calm and relaxed.

Sharda University, Noida.
Placements: Approximately 67% of the students are placed in my course, which shows the competition and opportunity in this field. The highest package offered to the students is around 45 LPA, the lowest package offered to the students is around 5 LPA, and the average package for this degree is around 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my college are better than other nearby colleges. The classes are fully air-conditioned, and smart boards are available for a better understanding of the studies. Wi-Fi is also available in the classrooms. The library offers a large number of books for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very understanding, helpful, and knowledgeable, with good degrees and years of experience in teaching. Most of the teachers have done their PhD from a good university. The semester exams in this college are of a medium level with good quality questions.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it gives me a wide range of knowledge about computers and programming, which helps me get ready for the industry. That's why I chose this course.

B.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2026

Dissatisfied because of placements and internship opportunities offered by the department.
Placements: Mainly 30 percent of students got placed in some companies on a very basic 3 to 4 Lacs package. Students struggle to get placed. Also, the companies are limited. The lowest package is around 1.8 Lacs and the maximum package is around 5.5 Lacs. Lack of internships offered by the companies; you have to pay for internships. Bharat Biotech is the top company, and recently Jubilant blacklisted Sharda University.
Infrastructure: Everything is good except labs; there is a lack of basic equipment and chemicals in the lab. Students suffer a lot of time to perform practicals in the lab. Infrastructure is not that good in the biotech department. Lack of classes. Hostel food is bad. Medical facilities are very good. Lack of sports and games.
Faculty: Mostly teachers are top qualified, but some of them just came for the salary. Course curriculum changes every year; they add some new subjects and drop some. Every semester there is a lot of difference in the course year-wise. Recently they are more focused on computer science subjects like programming languages—Python and some other subjects too.
Other: I just chose by chance; I didn't have much knowledge about this university before admission, otherwise, I would never have come to this university. I wanted to pursue Masters for research. Biotech is best for research purposes in living organisms. There is vast knowledge to gain in biotechnology. I wish the department will start focusing more on research and lab work. At least five practical subjects should be there in every semester. Lots of scholarships, lots of other extracurricular activities to do. Students from many countries enough to explore different cultures.

Sharda University, Noida.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed through this course. The highest package offered to students is around 40LPA, and the lowest package offered to students is probably around 7 to 8LPA. The average package offered to students is probably around 8 to 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies for the course are TCL and Airtel.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of this college are average. The campus is clean and big. The labs are well maintained and with all working equipments and library offers a wide range of books related to the course, as well as life changing and self improvement books.
Faculty: Teachers are helping the students and encouraging them for a good future, and trying to motivate them. They help with extra efforts in studies, but some teachers do not do anything and do not care at all. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry ready with good skill sets.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding and making programs. The best thing about this course is that I can do anything and express my creativity.

Good university overall.
Placements: Placement rate in my course is 60-80%, with the highest package being 40 LPA and the lowest package varying between 3.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG. The internship offer rate is 50-70%, and the top roles offered are manager, data analyst, and junior manager.
Infrastructure: Hostels and Wi-Fi are good. The labs, classrooms, and library are well-maintained. The canteen and food are average, but the sports and other club activities are good. The hostels also have great medical facilities. Overall, hostel life is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and include PhD teachers. Exams are quite tough, and getting internal marks is also hard. Submitting projects and assignments on time is mandatory, and you must have 75% or above attendance. The college has smart classes, good space in the classrooms, and a great computer lab.
Other: Fests, clubs, and cultural activities are amazing.

Sharda - A place of liberty.
Placements: I am currently in 4th semester but my seniors of last year are sitting in placements this time. Most of them are placed. Top companies are Samsung and Accenture. But the highest package is quite low. The reason for this is the loose ends on behalf of semester exams, where students earn marks just by filling in unnecessary pages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise if we see Sharda is the best. Basketball field, cricket field, and all other major sports have separate sections. Wi-Fi connectivity is all across the campus but internet speed is satisfactory. Hostel and mess are good with separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Management is the worst part at Sharda.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and are from very good backgrounds. But the passion for teaching the students is lacking. If the student gives some extra attention and pleases the teacher it is good. If students are introvert and don't talk much then forget about marks. Exams are below average and very basic questions are asked. But marking is based on favouritism.
Other: I chose Sharda University B.Tech because of the best quality labs and teachers here are from the research fraternity and their recommendations can get us a place in IVY League Colleges. Events are world-class. Actors and singers are called every 2 months and other occasional and festival events also take place.
