Good campus and faculty members.
Placements: From what I know from seniors, the placements are average to good. The average package is around 4–6 LPA. The top package is around 40–45 LPA. In previous years, like 2023 and 2024, placements were bad as the placement cell was changed. But in 2024–25, placements were average.
Infrastructure: Our university has good infrastructure. It has air-conditioned classrooms and full campus Wi-Fi connectivity. The labs are very well-equipped, and the teachers are very supportive, except for some of them. The hostels are good, but the mess could be improved. Medical facilities and all are good. There are grounds for cricket and football, as well as basketball and volleyball courts.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly, except for a few. The syllabus is good. Term exams are average to hard. The pass percentage is above 60 percent. I have many teachers supporting me in my subjects. I was weak in Physics, but my teachers helped me, and I scored well. There are opportunities if you grab them when they are provided.
Other: Campus life is the best part of joining here. You can play whatever you want, make new friends, and have some foreign exposure. There are many cafes around which you can visit and enjoy the food.

The world is here, where are you?
Placements: Job roles may include research & development (R&D). Food biotechnology students can get good job roles in quality control & assurance. Students can work in clinical research. There are job roles in Production & Manufacturing companies and students can also pursue further research.
Infrastructure: In our college, the labs are good, and the mess food is okay. Classes are air-conditioned. The library is well-maintained. There are courts and a ground. The canteen offers a good variety, but it is costly. The coffee in the canteen contains more water than milk. The mess curry chawal is liked by many.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, especially in the biotechnology department. Colleges alone can't make anyone industrially oriented. The difficulty level always varies, and the course curriculum is relevant. The debarment rules are strict. Exam conduction is well maintained.
Other: Sharda University is very good for a career in biotechnology.

Dissatisfied because of placements and internship opportunities offered by the department.
Placements: Mainly 30 percent of students got placed in some companies on a very basic 3 to 4 Lacs package. Students struggle to get placed. Also, the companies are limited. The lowest package is around 1.8 Lacs and the maximum package is around 5.5 Lacs. Lack of internships offered by the companies; you have to pay for internships. Bharat Biotech is the top company, and recently Jubilant blacklisted Sharda University.
Infrastructure: Everything is good except labs; there is a lack of basic equipment and chemicals in the lab. Students suffer a lot of time to perform practicals in the lab. Infrastructure is not that good in the biotech department. Lack of classes. Hostel food is bad. Medical facilities are very good. Lack of sports and games.
Faculty: Mostly teachers are top qualified, but some of them just came for the salary. Course curriculum changes every year; they add some new subjects and drop some. Every semester there is a lot of difference in the course year-wise. Recently they are more focused on computer science subjects like programming languages—Python and some other subjects too.
Other: I just chose by chance; I didn't have much knowledge about this university before admission, otherwise, I would never have come to this university. I wanted to pursue Masters for research. Biotech is best for research purposes in living organisms. There is vast knowledge to gain in biotechnology. I wish the department will start focusing more on research and lab work. At least five practical subjects should be there in every semester. Lots of scholarships, lots of other extracurricular activities to do. Students from many countries enough to explore different cultures.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college due to the highly supportive faculty members.
Placements: Around 75% of students get placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average salary ranges between 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Amazon, TCS, Meta, Netflix, and several other leading companies. Teachers also help us during placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. The library is very good. It is very quiet and it has a very good study environment. Wi-Fi connectivity is is in available on the whole campus. Labs have the best computers with graphics cards. Our college has a supercomputer which students can use for their projects. The mess food is not good, but it's okay. Medical facilities are excellent because Sharda has its own hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the teaching quality is excellent. They focus on making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and with regular study, students can easily score above a 4 CGPA. Overall, the learning environment is positive, motivating, and student-centered. The combination of helpful teachers, excellent teaching quality, industry-focused preparation, and a fair examination system makes this institution a great place for students to develop academically and professionally.
Other: I chose B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) because I am interested in AI and ML, and it has a good scope in the future. Events and fests are very excellent.

The world is here. Where are you. My Sharda University.
Placements: If you have a good CGPA and have learned different types of skills related to your course, you should definitely get a placement. The average placement package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Microsoft, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The best thing about my college is its infrastructure. It feels like you are studying in an abroad college because the infrastructure is very good. The college provides different blocks for different courses and offers everything that students need in a college.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, and they try to make us understand everything that we can't understand easily. They are friendly too, they crack jokes like Genz, which keeps us from feeling bored in class. The semester sometimes gets easy and sometimes gets hard, but it all depends on how much you have studied.
Other: If you want to live your college life like a Karan Johar film, Student of the Year, then you should definitely take admission in this college. Vibes of the college are similar to those of Hollywood and Bollywood because there are many international students too in the college. Mostly 60% of students get scholarships every year.

Sharda - A place of liberty.
Placements: I am currently in 4th semester but my seniors of last year are sitting in placements this time. Most of them are placed. Top companies are Samsung and Accenture. But the highest package is quite low. The reason for this is the loose ends on behalf of semester exams, where students earn marks just by filling in unnecessary pages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise if we see Sharda is the best. Basketball field, cricket field, and all other major sports have separate sections. Wi-Fi connectivity is all across the campus but internet speed is satisfactory. Hostel and mess are good with separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Management is the worst part at Sharda.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and are from very good backgrounds. But the passion for teaching the students is lacking. If the student gives some extra attention and pleases the teacher it is good. If students are introvert and don't talk much then forget about marks. Exams are below average and very basic questions are asked. But marking is based on favouritism.
Other: I chose Sharda University B.Tech because of the best quality labs and teachers here are from the research fraternity and their recommendations can get us a place in IVY League Colleges. Events are world-class. Actors and singers are called every 2 months and other occasional and festival events also take place.
