Review of NIET, Greater Noida, a growing institute with a lot of potential in the upcoming years.

Placements: NIET Greater Noida has a very decent placement record with more than 80 percent of students being placed through on-campus placements. The highest package up to 44 LPA in 2026 on campus and the lowest package up to 4 LPA. Reputed MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and LTI Mindtree are the top recruiting mass hiring companies, also product-based companies like GoDaddy, Juspay, and Razorpay also hire from NIET for internships as well as placements. Technical roles such as Software Development Engineer, System Engineer, Project Engineer, etc., are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by the Department of AIML is good with well-equipped labs for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AR-VR labs which help in understanding concepts well and provide opportunities to learn through practical implementation. The library also contains academic books, journals, and a better environment to study with Wi-Fi facilities as well. NIET also provides sports facilities and conducts a sports fest every year to showcase sports skills and athletic abilities for interested students. Medical facilities are also provided with decent medical facilities. The quality of food provided at the hostel mess is also decent, and the canteen provides a variety of foods.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified with most holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Teachers are very supportive and helpful especially in the department of AIML. They help students to upskill themselves and secure better placement opportunities. Teaching quality is moderate to best. Semester exams are of a moderately difficult level mainly focusing on theoretical understanding and previous year patterns. NIET is autonomous and takes exams on its own. With regular study, students can score better without much difficulty. The passing percentage every year is relatively between 80-90 percent as internal marks and practicals also contribute significantly to the result.

Other: I chose AIML because of my strong interest in emerging technologies and data-driven problem solving and the growing demand for AI-related roles in the industry. The best things about this course are its relevance to the current industry trends. I feel this course can be improved by interacting with more real-world projects, industry exposure, and the use of updated tools and technologies in the curriculum. NIET organizes various fests and events every year. The crowd is diverse and competitive. Connectivity is good as Greater Noida is well connected with Delhi and Noida via Metro and Road. Extracurricular activities like hackathons, sports, etc., happen every year encouraging students to participate and showcase their skills.

Placements: NIET is situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and this university offers the best placement opportunities for students. The highest package at this university is 50 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. At least 60 percent is required for internships. Many well-known tech companies like HCL, Microsoft, TCS, and Infosys visit this university for placements. Students get good opportunities here.

Comprehensive Review of NIET Academics, Placements & Campus Life.

Placements: The placement of NIET is quite good, and it is improving year by year. The placement cell is very supportive and focuses on our skill development and interviews. Many national and multinational companies visit our college every year. Overall, the placement is good.

Infrastructure: If you look at the NIET infrastructure, then we can say the infrastructure is also quite good, having a proper classroom with digital labs. Now, if we talk about hostel facilities, the Rooms are well maintained and have a good environment. The foods are hygienic and properly take care of your health.

Faculty: The faculty members of NIET are very supportive and have a great knowledge in this field. They give you a proper road map to build your career. The curriculum is industry Oriented and updated to meet the latest requirements. The exams are conducted fairly. Exams are moderately challenging, which helps student to improve their skills.

It is a good option if students do not have a better one.

Placements: Placements are above average here. The competition is everywhere so we need to work hard obviously. Some seniors I know got placed at good companies with a package that ranges from 28-40 LPA. They sometimes advertise too much, on the metro or billboards. I suggest students not believe everything. But they provide a good platform to showcase our skills.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was not satisfactory. AI ML classrooms in the first year did not have AC and the campus was very small. The college hostel was okay. The timing was 6:30 PM which I find a bit too much. Other than that, it was adjustable. Bathrooms have some work and rooms look like they were built in the 80's.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly good and are willing to help us. Semester exams are not difficult if we know the right way to study. They provide us with all the materials we might need. There are weekly exams every week and sessional done every month. All of this is hectic but it helps us to score a good CGPA.

The overall experience at NIET after 1st year.

Placements: About 80% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA to 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The highest package offered is 51 LPA. Students do internships on own from 2nd year.

Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is okay. Wi-Fi provides average speed and sometimes doesn't even connect. Labs are very well-maintained and work properly. Classrooms are okay in winter, but in summer, there are no air-conditioners, coolers, or ducts, so it becomes suffocating in summer.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and quite knowledgeable. A minimum of M.Tech is the criteria for teaching at NIET. The education system is quite good, with regular tests and exams, and a syllabus that is revised according to current needs. The level of semester examinations is moderate but strict.

Other: I chose this course because AIML is a booming branch in the present and future, and also curious to learn more and more. NIET has more connectivity to other colleges or universities, and they conduct many types of fest, like techfest, sports fest, cultural fest, etc.

Little pack with big boom.

Placements: Considering the placement records, about 80% of the eligible students got placed. The packages are as follows, the highest is 50 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys and TCS. 60% of students got internships and various companies the major being Wipro.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really great and well-built. There is no issue of any basic necessities. Wi-Fi works fine 24/7 also the labs, and classrooms really provide all digital facilities to help students understand the concepts properly. The food served in our hotel is really balanced according to the diverse tongues. Canteen contains every possible necessity too.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are very supportive and helpful in every field, not only in study related. They have proficient teaching skills and also hold many major degrees which are a major proof of their achievements. The course taught here is really extensive.

Other: This course is really trending right now in the job sector and personally, I was interested in studying AIML as it was intriguing.

The overall experience at NIET after the first semester.

Placements: Many companies do come to our college to offer jobs, notably Amazon, IBM, Infosys, etc. Although our college may not be as good as IITs or NITs, it is still decent and better than other colleges in Greater Noida. The average package would be around 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college heavily lacks in the infrastructure. There are two campuses, a new campus for first year students and an old campus for the rest of the students. Although the old campus is bigger than the new campus, it still isn't as big compared to the other colleges of Greater Noida. Still, there are more than sufficient labs but the auditorium is very small.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and capable. Our professor teaches us from the basics and are always up for repeating a topic several times. The curriculum is the best factor about our college. As our college is autonomous, it basically gets to decide its curriculum. They leave the unnecessary subjects like Chemistry and focus on coding language right from the first year.

Other: Campus life in our college isn't particularly vibrant. The first year students are kept separate and treated in the same way a school student would be treated. Things get looser after you get into the second year, but it is still very dull. There are numerous clubs and sports teams that you can join. Fests never happen in our college.

Why to choose NIET over other colleges.

Placements: In AIML batch, there's a good placement level as compared to other lower branches. The highest package of our college is 40 LPA (off-campus) and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top companies are TCS, HCL, Infosys, Capgemini, and many more. If we are talking about the percentage of internships, it's about 20%. The average package is Rs 50,000 for 6 months. The top roles offered are software engineer, online marketing, selling, data analytics, and software development.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library is good and it is large enough to study in. Wi-Fi is provided to students but only for labs and classrooms that have smart boards. Our college has average hostel facilities. If we talking about mess so nearly all hostels have the same menu. But the canteen is better than expected. Our college does not provide any facilities for sports except for the zonal time. The medical facility is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are too good like most of the teachers are too supportive except for few ones. All are well qualified. The teaching quality differs from every other teacher. The course curriculum is relevant as it makes the students ready for the industrial field. Semester exams are not that difficult. Basically, it depends on the subject like some subjects are too easy to prepare and some need some extra effort. The passing percentage of our exams is 33%.

Other: My course is CSE (AIML). The faculty members of our department are good. I chose this course because it has a bright future. The best thing is that we have to do many projects. The thing I would improve is that our college conducts workshops where we have to complete languages like Python or courses like DBMS in 15 days. So instead of this, they can do daily classes so that we can practice it daily instead of doing it for 15 days continuously. The campus life is bad. There are no fests.
