Students are taught basic medical sciences and trained to perform various tasks related to eye care such as measuring eyesight, prescribing corrective lenses, and identifying eye diseases. We also provide training to assist an eye specialist during eye examinations, maintain accurate records of patients, and prepare and repair spectacles.

It is basically an Medical Lab Technologist course. The course focuses on teaching the technique and process involved in creating images of the human body or its various parts. These images are used for clinical purposes such as medical procedures that aim to reveal, diagnose or examine diseases. They are also used in medical Science for studying normal anatomy and physiology.
